Settler's Family Restaurant

This place is amazing! The food is great! Pancakes for kids even come in Mickey shaped ears! We had a large group on Mother’s Day with reservations and they were very accommodating! Staff is all great! Thank you for making us feel welcome! We plan to visit more often as it is a great meeting place between buffalo and Rochester for our families!

We stopped by for breakfast on our way back from traveling to Niagara Falls for breakfast and the place looked very busy but we were seated right away. Our server was excellent and made sure we always had coffee refilled. Great service and food was very well. The home fries were by far the best we have had.

A lunch at settler's reminds me of home. The kind of family owned restaurant you take your kids too for breakfast or lunch. The wait staff is very friendly here which makes the experience all the better. I can only rate four stars however, due to the food. Not that it is bad because it is not by any means. The food is exactly what youd expect from a small town family restaurant! Well, slightly better than that but it's not top tier our of this style restaurant that I have been to. Every time I come here, my family is greeted with a warm welcome. There is one major problem with this place, however. That problem is the customers. An older crowd that does not particularly enjoy the presence of children. They scoff and give disgruntled looks even though my children are well behaved while out. We come across few very friendly folks that talk to the kids but other than that, it just makes us feel out of place. That said, I'd recommend Settler's to anyone that wants a solid meal with good wait staff.

Food was good. Service could've been a lot better. Table was dirty, not cleaned before we were sat. Gentlemen who cashed me out was a little rude. If I say "Thanks, have a great night!" The minimum requirement for this would be a simple, "Thanks, you too." Don't ignore what I said. Hospitality goes a long way.
