I am addicted to Mexican food and La Mesa is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food is incredibly delicious. Street tacos had a lot of additions and well-seasoned meat. Sopapilla is also heavenly. If you're nearby, be sure to try it! If you live nearby, I can swap houses with you ;) I really recommend this place!
Small place but food was good. The owners were great and friendly. Food is reasonably priced and you get alot for what you pay for. I had the meaty manny burger, which I could not finish.
Stopped By Here Today After Searching Online For A Good Place To Go . 10/10 The Restaurant Was Clean , The Costumer Service Was Top Tier, Great Music Playing, Just An Overall Vibe! . It Took Me A While To Figure Out What I Wanted Because They Have A Pretty Big Menu . They Were Patient, Didn't Make Me Feel Rushed & Everything Was Made Fresh To Order!!!! We Got Two California Burritos Al Pastor (6.99$ Special On Wednesday!!!) And Asada Fries . Everything Was So Good. I’m Definitely Going Back For Their Taco Special On Friday Lol!!!
Food was extremely tasty. I had a burrito filled with meat potatoes and rice. Recommended by the counter person. They did overcharge me for my meal. I ordered guacamole but instead they gave me avocado salsa but still charged me for guacamole. And they also charged me for my cup of water. A little bit weird practice but the food was absolutely amazing.

Amazing service and even better food. The price hits home runs for me all night and day long and worth every penny! The meat perfectly seasoned . The Hot Cheetos on top of the Asada fries so bomb 💣💣💣 love it all will keep coming back. If you don't trust me then try for yourself
This was a great little place! Service was great seems like a family owned business. You have to try the sopapilla tacos! What a great idea!
The owner is the chef!! He was very nice and friendly. His spices are specially brought in from Mexico. He gave me a bag because I really liked the salsa flavor.

- Sopapilla torta was AMAZING (it's huge, big enough to share).
- The red salsa is some of the best roasted spicy salsa I've had.
Highly recommend on your drive through Barstow. It's a small building but the owner finally bought the property and I'm sure he'll do great things with it.

I enjoyed the tacos from this restaurant it was very delightful. tonight we decided to pick a random place to eat and this place did not disappoint. I am definitely interested in returning to see what the rest of the menu is like.
The BESSSSST Mexican food in Barstow. No other place in town compares. The burritos are the BOMB! The Gots 2 Go burrito is delicious it has little bits of potatoes and New Mexico chili sauce augggh just talking about it makes my mouth watery. The enchiladas are delicious. The freshly made chips with salsa are soooo good. The green salsa is my go to when I want that extra kick I get the red salsa which is really spicy but yummy. Authentic food made with lots of love. The cook is always busy in the kitchen but makes time to check on the customers. The cashiers are very nice and attentive while taking your order. They have weekly specials and Friday tacos are usually $1. Everything on the menu is exquisite, mouth watering, and satisfying. They offer catering for your special occasions.
