We randomly stopped here an hour before they closed. The service was good. The food was good, but the yucca was plain it needed some MOJO sauce or something.
While this place has transitioned from a Salvadorian eatery to a burger restaurant, they have maintained most of their original Central American menu items. We thoroughly enjoyed our pupusas, black beans and fried plantain. I highly recommend this place…now called Bun Street.
I had not been to a place with amazing pupusas in a long time since I moved to the IE. On my way back from LA I decided to try them out and I was not disappointed one bit. They are open both indoor & outdoor for dining. Their outdoor patio dining area is amazing and the tables are spaced out. The cashier told me that everything was amazing because their cook knew hot to cook. Let me tell you she was not wrong at all. We ordered the Torta Sliders which were to die for. The order comes with (3) I got (2) carnitas and (1) asada both had incredible flavor. I loved them because they had the works in them: cabbage, onion, tomato, avocado, cotija cheese, sour cream. Delicious. Hubby got the birria and he said it was really good. I opted for the pick (3) combo so I choose (2) queso con loroco pupusas & the fried plantains with fried beans and sour cream. They do bring you chips while you are waiting with the most flavorful & delicious red sauce I've ever had. So much so I had to ask for more salsa. We also got the (12) pupusa platter to take home for only $38 which is an awesome price because they are a decent size. They give you a big bag of curtido & salsa for the pupusas. You can also pick what you'd like inside of them. Fyi they do not have chicharron with queso but they do have shredded pork with cheese and those are super good. Shout out to Madeline for being so amazing she is such a great waitress. She is the one who said that their food was all good and she was right. If you are ever in the area this place is truly a must try. They have a wide variety of food so there is definitely something for everyone.
This was our first experience at this resrestaurant. You order and pay BEFORE you sit, which i kind of liked because i didnt feel the pressure of waiters hovering over you, and theres a cozy outdoor patio area with good music. FANTASTIC and large food and beer selection! Got the enchilada dinner (birria, steak and chicken enchiladas) and pupusa sampler. Both fantastic. Food was tasty, Beer was cold, service was great, tables were clean, belly was full. They also have a great breakfast and lunch menu, and im eager to come back and try some of the other menu items! Dont hesitate, check it out. Also, make sure you check out Taco Tuesday's, when they have great prices for tacos, pupusas and margaritas!!

Cafe Las Pupusas Dining & Brews had a ribbon cutting ceremony with the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce. The food was delicious and the company was even better. Oh yeah, they are changing their name it Paco's! Go and check them out. The staff was great and it had a fun atmosphere.
Salvadorian Restaurant, I typically frequent more Mexican than Salvadoran restaurants, so I am stating my bias from the start. Had an asada burrito, and it was great. The green sauce was great, decent heat, very tangy. Honestly if this were sold by the bottle I would buy some. Would make some outstanding nachos. Rice and beans are okay. Mind you I believe were Salvadoran style, but I don't know for sure. Pupusa was good, uncertain if I have had better. Wanted to try a tamale, but they were out. Staff were friendly. Location is okay to get to, will want to be headed north on San Dimas Ave so as to not have to deal with the median. Okay parking, might have to drive a little if no spots available. Entrance and parking are accessible. Review during COVID so no idea about bathrooms. Will likely return to again in the future.
Overall food is pretty good, not sure how it fares compared to other Salvadorian food. Will definitely return to try the tamales and get more green sauce.
Went here to support a Veteran Outreach program called Oath to Country. I believe this is now a Bun Street restaurant or connected too.
Either way food and drinks were on point, and great friendly service
We came on a slow Saturday night (live band is on Fridays) simply to satisfy a pupusa craving and came away impressed. We ordered a variety of pupusas with different sides and ended up liking everything. Plantains with beans and cream as an appetizer were also just right. Heck, even the chips and salsa were good! Very personable service and quaint outdoor seating made a great dinner even more memorable. Highly recommended!
Very good place to eat! I love it’s service and their friendliness for food! Thank you for your service.
I was in Appetite for Pupusas and this was a great find! order with xtra cheese totally worth it, find out everything is home recipies, there 2 sauces one with a little spice totally recommended
You should try the spicy tomato sauce with pupusas, nachos y yuca!! Deliciosa! The plate with pupusas and pastelito is very good!!
The patio is very chill and cómodo. Good service too.
Best Pupusas Ive ever eaten!! All the items on the menu are tasty and service is great. Nice outdoor patio and great atmosphere!
The food was amazing... Don't come hungry, because they make the Pupusas fresh and can take 30 minutes for your meal to come out...but totally worth the wait.
Delicious Pupusas, only one thing to note: if you're vegetarian you cannot eat the beans, rice or any of the salsas since they use Knorr chicken bullion. I really hope they come up with some alternatives given how many people look for vegan/vegetarian options these days.
Nice little Cafe, the pepusa's were amazing, it was the first time trying Yucca and it was very good. And the chichrone it's paired with was delicious.
Great spot with great food and drinks. Friendly staff. Margaritas on happy hour are $2 and bellinis are $3.
