Slash X Ranch Cafe

It's Slash X, it's a staple of the off-road community in Johnson Valley. I've ridden my bike here with my pops and his friends since I was little and now I've taken my son's there in my SxS. The staff is always awesome even if they are slammed on some weekends, they still pump the food and beer out as fast as they can. The atmosphere is great, total desert bar that is exactly what you expect and need after a long day of blasting through the desert. I hope my sons bring their kids here one day. Make sure you pay attention pulling out and crossing the highway, cars and rigs come flying through there without slowing down.

I recently visited a restaurant/bar in Barstow, CA and I must say, it was one of the coolest places I've been to. The atmosphere was fantastic, the employees were friendly and the food was amazing. It's definitely worth a stop, especially if you're out on the trails. What's even better is that you can trail to and from the place, so no need to deal with streets and pesky concrete roads. Overall, a wonderful spot for lunch or a casual hangout. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

You have to stop here if your out there. I been coming here for 25 years never gets old good food lots of dirt racing stuff to look at. They have added an outdoor beer garden very large. Some live music . The service here is very good. The food here is very good. The staff here is always friendly. Never a bad meal or experience. Plenty of trails to ride right out of the parking lot.

What a great find for our road trip from northern California to southern California. They have a lovely big shaded patio where our dogs could hang with us and made the 93F day feel pretty comfy. Kids enjoyed running around the yard since no one else was around. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food was overall pretty good quality with the fried zucchini having a perfect ratio of flavorful batter to zucchini pieces. Burgers were good and kids gobbled up the corn dog. Definitely recommend stopping here.

This is a great destinations for burgers and beer off Highway 247 between Barstow and Lucerne Valley. It’s accessible by off-road vehicle trails popular on weekends. The service can be a little slow, but the food is good. The clientele are self-sufficient folks who love the desert I know how to get around.
