The bathroom was clean. There was plenty of hot water. The facilities are not updated. It is not high end, but the grounds were clean and well-maintained. There was at least one plant per campsite. They were also picnic tables and concrete slabs at your site. We set our tent up on the concrete slab, which worked well. It was relatively quiet, although you could hear the train in the distance. The managers were nice.

We stayed at Shady Lane RV Camp for one night with our camper travel trailer. The staff are so kind and understanding. We were supposed to arrive around 6pm, but of course, road trip adventures and we had a flat tire that delayed us getting in until 9pm. I called to let them know and they said our parking spot and reservation would be waiting for a late arrival. It was super easy to navigate into the camp, get the papers and map, and set up for the night. Don was working the office when we paid and departed the next morning. Great customer service. Shady Lane met my expectations and I would stay there again, if in the area. It’s pretty basic - no frills - but was exactly what we needed for a one night stopover.

If you love the desert this is a great place to stay. I lived at SL for 7 years and overall it was a good experience. Mgrs keep a close eye on potential problems so visitors can feel looked after. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We didn't want to pull the camper from mid California to Vegas on one day so we stayed here overnight. Easy in and out lots of parking with a very level site. 2 sewer connections one mid camper and one at the rear both with threaded PVC close to the ground. The electric panel looked like brand new. The office staff was very friendly and laid back. It's off the highway a little bit and very quiet unlike the KOA down the road. Many restaurant choices nearby.

Passing through looking for an RV park. Staff so friendly and nice. Told him I’m not great at backing up- even offered to help but he brought me to a pull through site- thank you. Very quiet just a great place to stop for the night!

It is a desert campground....a bit dusty but also graveled as best they can. The rating considered it's an overnight campground. in Barstow. Lots of full timers but they are kept neat and are across from the overnighters. We were kinda put off by the entrance and trucks parked along the road, but that's how they keep the campground neat and easily accessible. We are a 42 ft Class A. 50 amp power was clean, WiFi worked good.

Very quiet and cozy place to rest and relax. WiFi and cable to keep you connected on your trip. Management is very helpful and attentive. Curb appeal is very deceptive. Very neat and orderly for an older park. Thank you for your helpful service!

My husband and I were grateful to find Shady Lane RV camp when we needed a place to park our travel trailer for a few days. The location is great, just a few minutes from the main town of Barstow. The facilities including showers, bathrooms, and laundry were clean and easy to use. Don & his son Rob welcomed us with graciousness and kindness. I would give them a 10 plus stars and if we’re back in the area will easily stay there again! Keep up the great hospitality and facility Don & Rob. Thanks again! -Lauren & Matthew

Nice and cheap ANNNND quiet! We showed up super late, the office left all our info for us up front with a drop box for cash for the rate. We were so tired we slept super late and stayed another day. The staff were very understanding and nice to us. There are some permanent residents, there is a Drive In nearby. There are showers and laundry. We liked it here, looked like something out of a David Lynch movie :), which I loved. If you are accustomed to expensive RV resorts for your multi million dollar RV it may not be for you. But we liked it and will be returning in the future.

Clean & Quiet with hospitality too! Great owners! As soon as we drove up, Daniel was there to escort us directly to our site with our 40’ rig and truck in tow. He was very helpful & polite and made us feel right at home. Older place, but kept clean! Do not judge a book by its cover!!

No complaints at all. Was able to get a 44' fifth wheel in, and other big rigs were able to get in beside us no problem. All good with the hooks ups and the wifi was very good. I met the owner operators Daniel and Don and they're both great and very friendly. They were spotting for me as I pulled in, and on the way out. It's not a very big park and there's nothing fancy about it, but it's a good place to park.

This place is awesome. At first glance you think what have we done but these owners were some of the nicest, friendliest people we have met. They followed us right out an helped guide us in. Helped to make sure we were all set up an everything working. Said if we had any questions or needed anything just ask an they would help. We will definitely take time to look this place up an stay there on future trips!!! Full hookups, 50am with all amenities. We stayed 1 night on our way home but it was peaceful an quiet after a long hard day on the road.

When we arrived it looks as though they are in the process of updating. Folks are friendly and it is easy in and easy out. Our neighbor was pretty loud at midnight, but other than that, it was a good stop.

2023- up date , we have been here at least 5 times in our travels . Price with good sam 49.50 a night . full hook up. Will be back again im our travels This is a small older RV Park, would recommend calling for reservations. The staff is super friendly(family owned) , they guide you into your spot, have you get settled and then come to the office to pay, with our Good Sam discount the price was $40 and change. Very quiet park, you park on dirt and have cement slab to step on to , clean facilities, ie bathrooms, showers and laundry rm. Great spot to spend the nite on I-15 Barstow.

This review is a year past due. The people at Shady Lane are flat awesome!! Helpful, kind and understanding just doesn’t say enough!!! We stopped at a gas station Memorial Day weekend 2021 heading toward Montana when right at the pump our truck brake vacuum boost failed without warning. Being Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, no shops were able to get us in for a look, much less for needed repairs. The folks at Shady Lane created a trailer site for us even though they were full. They helped me plan a route from the Truck stop accounting for limited brakes, worked with us on our unknown day-by-day departure schedule until we were able to finally get repairs and leave on Wednesday. Quiet location, easy in/out and these wonderful people deserve your business!!!

Lovely stay! We pulled in and were immediately greeted and escorted via golf cart to our spot before we officially checked in; Excellent customer service. Don (at the front desk) even called to check on us since we were running behind on our check in time, just to ensure we were safe and not lost. Great hookups, clean campsite and very safe. Would definitely recommend! Thank you guys for everything ^_^
