Review Daymark - Barnegat Light

A bunch of friends went out to dinner, 8 total. We split a bunch of appetizers, and ordered more food than we needed. Wait staff was friendly and accommodating, attentive but not overbearing. They let us enjoy ourselves but were quick with drinks. Food was well prepared and plated with flair. The facility was moderate; comfortable for a wide range of clients.

Daymark offers the perfect blend of quality seafood dishes with an incredible ambiance. Situated near the Barnegat Lighthouse and wrapped with large windows bringing in plenty of natural light, Daymark offers a certain feeling of comfort as soon as you step inside. The manager, Brandon, was charming and familiar with the menu. He brought his favorite recommendations for food and suggested the right drinks to compliment our meal. Our waitress was courteous and friendly, going out of her way to entertain our two children as they insisted to "order on their own" for the first time. The food was DELICIOUS! We started with a calamari and goat cheese gnocchi appetizers - both fresh and light. For dinner, we tried the crab cake special and organic chicken. Portions were very fair (& filling) and both were bursting with flavor. The drinks were strong with well-balanced flavors. Daymark offers a huge bar, too, which looks like a great place to hang out for happy hour. Overall, I would strongly recommend checking out this spot. While it's definitely a bit of a drive for anyone not already on LBI, it's certainly worth making it a planned destination when you're in the mood for finer dining!

We randomly came here when visiting LBI and wow. This was a gold mine, this place was so outstanding that I'll just come back here for the food. We came here and ended up talking to the staff and getting what I will call some.of the best service I ever had at a restaurant and the food was to die for. I got a special and it was cool so perfectly on top of that it was such a great value.

Great food! The place close to the lighthouse didn't have seafood but this place did. Quick service.

We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding experience at the Daymark! From start to finish Paul & Brian were responsive and collaborative. The vibe and looks of the upstairs party room were beautiful and set the stage for our Mediterranean garden party by the beach disco vibes, not that it needed additional decor but they did allow us to add our own DIY elements that only enhanced the space. The service, food, and drinks were delicious and so good! Paul and the rest of the Daymark staff were attentive and helpful from the day we inquired to the end of our wedding night, to picking up our decor the next day. Everything was just so easy and so well put together. We would 100% recommend the Daymark to anyone who is looking for a unique and colorful wedding space, with an amazing team and food. 10/10 experience and SO glad we had our ceremony (rain plan which had to be used) and reception there. They were collaborative and so helpful with each of our vendors. We truly can't wait to just come and eat the food and reminisce about our amazing day.

Delicious food, awesome live music, fun cocktails, great service! we had the chicken wings and crab fingers, which is a unique menu item and glad we tried it! Followed by bucatini with clams and crab cakes. Portions were big, service was quick!

6/2022: Daymark is hidden foodie gem. The scallops are delicious. They were perfectly cooked/seared and paired. My hat goes off to the chefs. The cocktail and draft selection is meticulously selected. The service at the bar, by Greg, was great. No outdoor seating. Enjoy & Cheers!

𝔽𝕠𝕠𝕕𝕚𝕖 I went to Daymark LBI again ❤️ I honestly love this place so much. We had curry cauliflower with roasted veggies, wings, and the salmon. We also had crab fingers and oysters for appetizers!!! Best oysters and wings ever. So good and of course the drinks were delicious as well! @Sebbybelly on Instagram

Lovely place, very romantic and friendly. We enjoyed our oysters, crab cakes & clams. The cocktails where amazing & kiddo enjoyed his fancy cheeseburger. Prices are more upscale but we love supporting local business. Plus it’s right next to the light house.

Have been coming here for over a year, my girlfriend and I come here purely for the mussels, they are incredible! The broth is extremely flavorful and the mussels are usually cooked to perfection. Also, the signature cocktails are delicious, the signature Manhattan is my go to 👌

The best place to get together, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. I love coming here. Daymark has a great happy hour as well. It is a pretty loud so not the best place for little kids and grandparents. Perfect for the young and indulging.

Add some salt/pepper to the calamari and it is magnificent as is the chocolate cake

Had a delicious lunch. We orders the crab fingers, shrimp, and wing appetizers. We also enjoyed the double cheeseburger with bacon. Service was awesome as well!

A gem of a place! Had a fabulous meal, delicious cocktails, attentive service and great atmosphere. I love it's comfortable and casual vibe and beautiful nautical decor. I would give it 4 1/2 stars, leaving off 1/2 a star for portion size. I found my portions perfect, but can see how some people might wish for a few more bites. I plan on returning again and again. I hesitated to write this review for fear of returning only to find I can't get a reservation! Bon appétit!
