I love this place. One suggestion for the 5th star... if you’re going to decide to stop accepting reservations, you should update your site that still says you accept them. Not accepting reservations makes it hard to reserve a place at the grill. Not sure first come, first serve is the way to go on the grill side. Maybe for general seating, but the grill/ entertainment should be the same as it always has been. It is not normally used unless requested or a reservation is made to sit there. I don’t see value in going to the restaurant on the off chance I “might” get to sit there if it is the REASON I went there. As this is not part of the “regular” dining experience, it should not be treated the same. If you no longer want to accept the reservations, fine.... but update your site!! Misinformation is frustrating.

I enjoy the bourbon steak and the teriyaki chicken with rice but that's about it. I've ordered the calamari twice and unfortunately I don't want to pay eight bucks for seven pieces of over breaded calamari. My son loves the sushi rolls but the past few times they have had more veggies than normal. It's always fast service but feel rushed when there.

Nice atmosphere and super affable service. The menu was fresh and delightful. Will absolutely recommend this spot to my friends. Reasonable prices and generous portions. Good job.

My boss and I were a little hesitant about eating sushi in Bardstown, but we took a risk and were so glad we did! This is an understated little place in a somewhat older shopping center, very unassuming on the outside. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, although there was a slight language barrier that led to some confusion when ordering, but nothing was omitted or brought out incorrectly. The sushi menu is many pages long and the rolls themselves are quite creative! We thoroughly enjoyed the Bardstown Roll, which contained cream cheese, fried chicken, spicy crab, and was topped with fried snapper. Coincidentally we both ordered the shrimp fried rice, which was more fine dining style than what typically comes in a Chinese to-go box. These shrimp (~5 medium size) were marinated and grilled up teriyaki style, then laid atop the bed of fried rice - not all mixed together. It was absolutely delicious and a huge portion. There was some confusion about whether the lunch specials come with a soup AND/OR a salad (menu says OR), but I say opt for the soup. I got the salad and I think it had about 4 pieces of chopped lettuce in it; pretty measly.

This place ties another restaurant I've tried for best sushi I've ever had. If you're in the St. Matthew's area try Togo sushi. But if you're in Bardstown then try Umami. Umatilla is better than Mammy's Kitchen and the Talbott Tavern and i like both of those restaurants. Umami might be my favorite restaurant in Bardstown. Hard to tell between Alexander Bullits and Umami.

Really good food, a diamond in the rough!!! The chef we had did a great job with the stunts and acts performed while cooking. We are excited to come back, and I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by. Great sushi and margaritas too!

Service was good. Room was clean. Appetizer spring rolls were ok. The Tom and Jerry roll had almost no flavor. Even the wasabi was bland. I'm just passing through. Maybe they had an off night.

So this was the 2md time I have placed a pick up order, the first time was fine no problems. This time was not. So I ordered the steak and scallops came with fried rice and salad. I also got the fried dumplings. So I arrived before my food was ready. I dont live but less the 5 minutes from them. I arrived home and my dumplings were not hot, my scallops had been so over cooked they were horrible and not hot either. The steak was good, and the rice was ok but not hot either. For almost a $33 dollar meal and I left a tip I expect more expesually when I arrive and they say my food is not done. It will be a while before I go back
And when I came into the buliding I stood by the counter and people that worked there just walked by over and over no one said a word to me or the other coustermer standing there.
