Decent, but not exceptional BBQ! Ribs are really Tender, but I didn't like the slaw. Price is really fair!

Great ribs. I am stuffed...if you want good food come here...if you want a tourist Hotspot go somewhere else. This is a locals place...not some special Foo Foo place. Great bbq.
Amazing small town barbecue. Had the pulled chicken sandwich and it was nicely sauced. Didn't make a huge mess but just the right amount to make the flavor pop. Green beans made in the good southern way along with the Mac and cheese. Highly recommend their desserts as they are homemade in the restau

This was my first time coming here and I was so impressed I will be back for sure. The service was so fantastic and our waitress had such a wonderful personality. The food is so delicious and reminds me of the home cooking my momma used to do. The atmosphere is so friendly and fits the place so well
We have lived here for 10 years and just now discovered Down Home. It's nothing fancy, but it is down home cooking, and the food is great! We have really enjoyed the ribs the most so far. Service is always super friendly too!
Now in the top three of my favorite Kentucky BBQ joints, delicious food the half chicken fell off the bone it was so tender, and the 82 year old owner Bob, was very hospitable. Truly enjoy chatting with him. Curbside service was excellent, will definitely be back!?
