Our favorite restaurant in the area! Some of the best Italian I've ever had. Definitely worth the price, most lunch entrees under $10.
Pictures are the tortellini carbona, lasagna, and make your own pasta bread bowl... Strawberry shortcake cheesecake, hot fudge lava cake desserts.

Exceded expectations. My husband and I don't get Italian much because it always disappoints.
HOWEVER:
-Mozzarella sticks batter was actually crisp and cheeze cheezy! Not oily or greasy and not overly salted! The marina seemed to be homemade and was well seasoned!
-Buffalo chicken batter was crispy and was a hit with my husband and I.
-The meat spaghetti, calzone, pizza slice was all well seasoned and flavorful! Not bland, but not overly salted.
We had ordered 2 appetizers and each an entree. There was so much food left even after we were full! Waitress was awesome and we didn't even have to ask for takeout trays, she just brought them to us!
Bella's is a must-do for me every time I'm up here in Banner Elk, I will usually eat here at least twice during a week vacation. The food is delicious, and the servers are always friendly and polite.
I highly recommend the Garlic Mozzarella Bread appetizer, it is fantastic and can easily serve four people. The first time I ordered it I was surprised at the size, but that just meant plenty of yummy leftovers for me later.
I've had the Chicken Parmigiana, Spaghetti with Marinara sauce entrees, both are super tasty, I really like the sauce, and the garlic rolls that comes with them are wonderful. Another favorite is the lunch special of two slices with one topping each with a drink, it's a good value and tastes great too. And when you ask for extra cheese as your topping? Be prepared for EXTRA cheese! They do not skimp like most pizza places do nowadays.
All in all, Bella's is a great restaurant and is always a can't miss place for me whenever I'm in town.
Food and service was great ! Our waitress was very kind and even helped us pack our left over pizza. This is the best Italian place in Banner elk. I would highly recommend. The pizza and the House-made Lasagna are the best.
Amazing food! Wish we had more time to really indulge but we opted for a fast fix since we had an event nearby and picked their classic pizza. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.
Oh my goodness! This place is outstanding! The food is impeccable!! We will be eating here on a regular basis! The homemade bread…. Wow! The lasagna and stuffed shells…perfect! We absolutely loved dining at Bella’s!
Wow! Best Italian food I've had in a long time! Started with the delicious Bruschetta and everything just kept getting better. Don't miss the house made Lasagna. Mounds of cheese and meat sauce in this dish. It was fabulous, I just couldn't finish because the dish was so big! Others in my party loved the Veal Piccata and the Chicken Parmesian. I tried the Chix Parm and it was great. The meat was delicately breaded and tender. Again, HUGE portion ( easily for 2). Wish I had room for dessert. Oh well, guess I'll have to go back! Service was fast and incredibly friendly. Our server continually returned throughout the meal to check on us.
First time eating Italian here with friends. Nice little restaurant and waitress very nice, I think Hali. I ordered pizza and it was amazing! Also the group ordered lasagna with meat sauce and clam chowder with bacon. My husband loved that. Friends had ravioli with marinara sauce and pasta with marinara sauce. Said it was delicious. Loved the leftovers! Plenty of food. Only down side was the restroom. It needed much cleaning. So besides that, great place to eat!!
Great friendly and quick service! Nachos were our favorite, but these lunch portions were pretty good too!
Had stuffed shells, really good and the garlic roll was awesome.
Desserts - dee-licious.
My friends had Greek salad, pulled high with olives, article hearts and the other stand ingredients, slice of cheese pizza - wonderful crust, and lasagna.

Very good food and great service! Huge portions - definitely good to share or have leftovers to go. Our group of six had a variety of pastas and they were all excellent. And when there was a delay with one order, they more than made up for it with great service and some bonus desserts. 😁 Highly recommended!
I love good NY pizza and this fell short a bit with the sauce and crust not measuring up (cheese was really good), but the mozzarella sticks were great. The staff were really nice and they got my order out fast for pickup!
Great service, good food, very reasonable prices and easy going atmosphere. Best pizza in Banner Elk. Really good Greek and Caesar salads. Top w Salmon or Chicken even better.
First time at this restaurant and we loved it the food was great and delicious. Large portions so bring your appetite. I had the risotto and oh my gosh it was delicious and it had sausage and mushrooms. So good. I would definitely come back here. I recommend this restaurant to all who want good food.

All day on the slopes and rewarded with a fantastic meal! I saw some negative reviews about wait time but Yessica was on top of things with my party of 5. I've got 3 kids under 9 that were worn out the time we got to dinner, but the quick drink service coupled with the parmesan sprinkled and garlic bread rolls were a great way to stave them off. I dig the 80s music they played in the dining area and it was a hit with my kids as it's "what daddy listens to anyway". Atmosphere was welcoming, beer was cold and loaded with local brews and don't' get me started on the portion size. My wife got the eggplant parm, came with side of pasta and salad. Pizza for the kids and calzone for me. Our bill was right at $100 BUT we we had it for lunch the next day too! I can see why this is a local fav and as for the negative reviews, most businesses still have a "we're hiring sign" that everyone seems to miss on the way in for some reason? Upon a return trip to Sugar Mountain, we know where dinner will be one night for sure .
