Summary: Good mexican food and good service in Bandera.
The corn tortillas are very good here and we always get those over the flour here at this restaurant (not usually at other restaurants).
Breakfast: We like the pork chops and eggs… Steak was a little too much gristle. Ranchera salsa is good too.
Latest visit in Summer 2023 and noticed they’ve been updating the place inside. It’s so cute with wooden interior walls inside! Definitely fits in with the Bandera vibe.
So good so fresh when it’s busy you have to be patient. This was at 6:30 in the morning. Hands-down favorite restaurant in Bandera.
Food is usually really good. Service is horrible to non existent. Last time I was there it took them 20 minutes to bring out our sweet tea and water and it wasn’t even busy. Also the taco meat was really under cooked. We have always love this place but are really hesitant to go back now. Hopefully it was just an off day for the cooks. But the service always sucks. They need to hire people that love their job but in today’s age those are hard to find.
My favorite Bandera restaurant. Everything I have had there was great, and the chicken poblano was no exception.
Foods decent. Staffs always nice. Wide variety to choose from on the menu.
The food is amazing! First time eating here. The only thing of concern was our waitress was not attentive at all. We had ask a different waitress for help. I definitely recommend this establishment!!
Featuring one of my favorite plates, The Poblano Chicken. I’ve visited this little restaurant for a number of years and seen their improvements visually and to the palate. Honestly good food, nice seating and at a great value. Great breakfast, lunch or dinner with families or with friends.
Newly renovated, looks great. Dame great food. We had a plate, can't remember the name, but basically fajitas with ALL the meats. Absolutely delicious!
A definite must if you're in Bandera.
Always order breakfast tacos here, and we eat lunch or dinner on occasion. Really satisfied . Favorite Mexican food joint in Bandera hands down. To go service is exceptional most days, and they are pretty quick and consistent.
Delicious food. We had the shrimp chimichanga and pork carnitas. They were short staffed, but had a sign on the door letting patrons know and asking for patience. Attentive and friendly wait staff. Nice decor and good family atmosphere.
I'm a chef and I will never sugar coat... The food over all was pretty good... Charro beans kinda let me down tasted like ranch style beans that someone tried to change... couple things need a little work... menus and high chairs where really dirty... and that's your first impression... Just step it up alittle and it would be a great place.. Well until next time signing off Two Peas
This is our go to place to eat while visiting Bandera...A must..Reasonable price, great service and excellent food.
Nice, clean, inexpensive, no frills family-owner and operated Mexican restaurant. I always go for the Speedy Gonzales plate with the puffy taco - YUM!!
Absolutely loved the flour tortillas. Wow! Enjoyed the chorizo bean and cheese taco. And the papa's a la Mexicana. The sauce were good. Just hard to take that deliciousness out of those syrup containers. Definitely will come try lunch. Great service as well.
