Charm City Chocolate

Online orders only but they have a nice selection. I peaked inside; looks clean, orderly and inviting. Can wait until it's open for in-person shopping. My order also came with a little treat, nice touch! Order pick-up process in the alley is uncomfortable; parking is limited , closed in, and tight. I wish they would just bring orders to the street in front of the shop, as a woman I would have felt safer.

Run, do not walk, to this chocolate shop! The chocolates are high quality and among the best I have had. I bought a box of 12 truffles for $20. They have an wide assortment of fillings - fruits, nuts, coffee-like, chocolate, and more. The owner was very kind and helped me with my selection. Her husband is the chocolate maker.

I went in on Small Business Saturday. There was a sample tray by the register with something green that was chocolate covered. It was keylime. I thought that sounded disgusting, but my daughter made me try it. OMG! I couldn't believe how fantastic it was!!! I bought a few other pieces of candy and left the store. Later that evening around 5:30, I had eaten all that I bought. I called the store and asked what time they were open until. Since they were opened until 8PM, I WENT BACK FOR MORE!!! Fantastic chocolate!!!

Love this chocolate shop on The Avenue, Hampden. Some of my favorites are the dark chocolate cherries, the almond-topped coconut, the toffee, the almond bark. Just tried their fresh mint chocolate truffle today--amazing! No need to worry about patronizing this candy store in the summer; just make it your last stop before going home:) Wonderful selection and helpful, friendly owners.
