Good, cheap, and very good. A little sketch looking inside but that’s how you know it’s so good. Would recommend
They have the best shrimp fried rice in the city, big ole shrimp too. But last week I went the shrimp was a lil small and the rice wasn't as Good. Guess it depends on which cook is there. If you see a heavy set guy don't order if you see a skinny guy place your order his cooking will blow your mind.
They are very professional. They have excellent customer service. Their service is very fast, and the food is always exceptional. Another thing, the cheese steak egg rolls are the best here. I've tried about 20 other Chinese Restaurants cheese steak egg rolls and Royal China's is by far the best one I had!!
Excellent teriyaki chicken on stick, 4 sticks made for an easy meal. We also enjoyed the fried chicken wings and rice, both were fresh and tasty. Owner and wife were friendly and courteous. We are new to Greektown, and were pleasantly surprised to find a decent chinese takeout place hidden among the Greek and Hispanic restaurants. We will definitely try other dishes in the future.
I've finally found a Chinese takeout that has a friendly and accommodating (I've got food allergies, among other issues with my diet) staff. Regardless of the ingredients they leave out due to my diet requests, their food is still very tasty, and obviously cooked to order. Royal China is on Eastern Ave, nestled in between other restaurants, in the heart of Greektown. Usually, my roommate and I, place orders for pickup, and have always been happy about the average fifteen minute wait. Tonight, however, I will be placing my order to be delivered a mere few city blocks away. Hopefully, but also doubtful, I'll be disappointed.
C'mon guys really??? Why the 1 star reviews? I strongly disagree!! These folks have been around since the Clinton administration! Look at the shot of the younger owner looking up at our former Prez. hanging proudly on their wall. That in itself says they have a good business. Ok, now to the food. I've never had a bad carry out experience here. I don't have super high expectations either. That being said, we are in Greektown, not Chinatown in Manhattan. The late night meals I have sampled for several years have always been tasty, hot, and very fresh! The veggies are prepped there everyday and are never frozen. They are fast, efficient, and the woman remembers my name and my order. You can customize your order and make it as Asian as you like. They also make American food like wings and shrimp and burgers and fries. Try this place!! I've gone to all of the Chinese carry outs in 21224 and this is the best by far IMO...People are just silly, so try it:)
Royal China is consistently delicious. For under 6 dollars you can practically get a feast. The szechaun beef is very tasty with crunchy carrot shreds, celery ribs, sticky rice, in flavorful sauce with beef. Egg drop soup and shrimp egg rolls are a steal at under 3 dollars and very tasty. For the price you really can't beat it!

I got the pu pu platter! Great price for what you get, but the ribs where very tuff. I couldn’t bike through the meat & the wontons are for me.
