Saigon Today

The restaurants ambience is modern and nice. I liked the little details they had such as using little flower printed pouches on their chopsticks. Other restaurants have them packaged in paper pouches. The food was great! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Lastly, the staff is so friendly and attentive I've always gotten good service.

Great place, decent Viet food for Canton, Bmore, MD. Service was great. The food was pretty authentic especially since the cook was actually Vietnamese. SCORE !! However, it is sorta out of the way. It's off off the Canton square. And I'm sure if you mentioned Viet food to Bmore residents, they're all gonna say you mean Chinese ;-)

The Vermicelli is excellent. The serving portions are half of what they use to be. They do not read special instruction notes for sauces. (Often best to put in notes for delivery person.) In person, friendly staff and the place is clean. I updated my review from 3 to 5 ☆ as the food is great, and I was being bitter. The manager did once come out of her way to bring a sauce, which likely cost her a parking spot.

I have eaten a lot of Pho and in just about every Pho restaurant around Baltimore (plus areas such as Northern VA and Rockville, notorious for great Pho). I would put Saigon Today's Pho near the top. They don't have the largest selection of cuts of meat, but the broth is delicious (arguably the best part of Pho), and the noodles are always on point with the rare steak. I'm also a lover of a good Bánh mì sandwich, but unfortunately they are lacking a bit in this area. The ingredients are ok, but very sparse in the portions.
