The food has always been pretty good but my order hasn't always been right. I know they're usually busy but I get the same stuff all the time so I don't see how they mess it up.. unless the special instructions are being overlooked..
The food here is truly something to go out of your way for, I came here from New York based on a recommendation and I have no regrets! This restaurant has been here for more years than I can remember. The food is always good and hot. It's not the safest area, still never felt unsafe. Great chicken boxes.
I would have given 5 stars if the fried chicken wasn't hard. Soul food places should be on point with the fried chicken. Other than that. I really enjoyed the flavor of the cabbage and yams. I will definitely order here again but will do the baked chicken next time.
