the only thing bad about this place is the hours. the food was toooo good. had the jerk chicken platter and coco bread. and then the prices are the best around. please never change the prices or quality my first time was a 10/10 just wish y’all were open through the week more
The BEST or some of the best carribbean food in the DMV! I've been a customer for more than a decade and this food is fantastic and consistent. They cook like they're cooking for family and you always feel like family when you walk through the door. Everything is wonderful but the oxtail and the pineapple ginger juice are my faves. Ill return as long as they're in business.
The biggest thing with this restaurant... They aren't open more often. Other than that I recommend this place to anyone looking for good Carribean cuisine this side of town

Ox Tails were very tender and tasty. The place is clean and welcoming. Service was excellent! The ginger beer is a must have.

Been coming here since they opened. They are easily the most consistently good carry out in the city. I've ordered meals and catered items from them and have never had a bad meal...they cook like they're cooking for family. The owners are friendly and fast and you always leave there with a smile. Delicious and authentic cuisine. My entire family enjoyed the oxtail curry, curry goat, shrimp, along with the patties. Both my kids ate it up, even my youngest who is really picky. This is a great place for takeout!
The food is delicious. They could put just a tad bit more in the Styrofoam container for the price you're charged. Nevertheless the food is Great! I've been there 5 times! Yummy!
I came here with my family and was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the customer service, I ordered the stew chicken with Mac& Cheese and it tasted wonderful. Definitely coming again.
My favorite Jamaican Spot been going here for years live far away then I use too but still travel an hour to get the food that I love which is the jerk chicken it has much much flavor to it unlike some other places where it's just really just overly spicy with no flavor or taste at all along with it I get Mac & cheese and sweet yams , really I can't say enough about this place plus the pineapple ginger homemade drink is awesome too & recently I tried the goat and that was bomb ass too so if u ever in town and near this precious gem try all these things & also try the carrot cake because it is a beast too & it's always fresh !!!
So good, I think I’ve tried all the chicken & I had the curry goat. The yams, mac&cheese or cabbage are always my sides!!! Highly recommended everyone try it!
Curry Chicken is EXCELLENT. Very tender with a nice kick of spice. *Cash only spot. No parking out front between 4 - 6pm M-F.
