This is a great place to have breakfast, lunch, or just sit and have a warm cup of coffee. The lady behind the counter is very kind. Love it here

Really great quiet place to have a meal, get some work done and enjoy the day. The lady behind the counter is very pleasant and the music she plays soothes the soul!

I was in Baltimore for a research conference this past weekend and decided to wander off to Cafe Jovial for breakfast. I ordered the Mediterranean breakfast and a coffee. I was so pleasantly surprised by how delicious and well priced the food was. Truly a gem! The inside of the cafe is small, but cozy. It appeared as if a lot of the locals stop in and chat with each other. Great experience overall!

The food is great!! Every time I eat there I leave impressed. Today we had the Mediterranean Breakfast and the Jovial Pitza - superb. One of the best hidden gems in Baltimore. They also have Jazz on the weekends.

Staff is super nice and parking is usually not a problem. For me it was was love at first bite when I tried their egg and cheese everything bagel. It rocked my world and then some. The dirty chai is hands down one of the most delicious espresso concoctions I have had in a long time. Though I am prone to hyperbole sometimes in this case all the superlatives are true. This place is great.

Social wonderful and Charming coffee and breakfast shop in pigtown. The lady is always very professional and very nice. She works hard and takes pride in what she does. I recommend calling ahead cuz she's usually pretty busy. I can usually get in and out of there within 5 minutes though. The Breakfast Bagel sandwich is a steel it's under $4. Eggs bacon cheese on an everything bagel. Coffee is great. Nothing bad to say about this place.

Good food, really reasonable prices, a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Their chai lattes are pretty sweet-tasting. I really like the turkey pesto sandwich. Their breakfast choices are good too and are served all day.

Everything I want in a local coffee shop. Warm friendly service, tasty coffee (I drink plain black, so that's what I'm judging) and homemade breakfast foods if I need to grab something on the run. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can come hang out here with a good book in their outdoor seating. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

This was my first time at this place and it was great! As a vegetarian, I got the Pitza, which had more spices and flavor than I expected. I also tried the waffle, which was soft and delicious. the prices were reasonable too

My favorite local spot. Go in 3-4 times and Dee Dee will learn your order and have it ready for you by the time you get to the counter. Great food and better coffee. Never leave Pigtown!!!

You can tell the secret ingredient in the food is love. Hard-working and very sweet owners. Always love coming here. The good vibe is infectious and the prices are totally reasonable.
