Had lunch while waiting Bayview Medical Center. Enjoyed a delightful meal at this charming neighborhood cafe. Opted for the turkey club – fresh deli-sliced turkey on generously sized toast. Engaged in a wonderful conversation with the owner, who's dedicated to the community and takes pride in the service and food. Excited about returning to this fantastic place!
This place has everything. Paninis, hot and cold sandwiches, pizza, coffee, *groceries*, and popsicles! The owner (Mr. Romero) was jovial and friendly and really brightened my day! I had the Thai Chicken wrap which was toasted, delicious and very reasonably priced. They had several common household items and groceries for sale which was very convenient. The place is very clean and charming. Will definitely come back. Highly recommended for lunch!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting J.C. Romero's Neighborhood Cafe, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the friendly smiles of the staff. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with soft jazz playing in the background and comfortable seating that made it the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon.The menu offered a variety of options, from classic espresso beverages to unique, signature blends that catered to every taste bud. I opted for their house special, a velvety cappuccino that was expertly crafted and served with a beautiful latte art on top. The taste was rich and satisfying, a testament to the quality of their coffee beans.What truly set this cafe apart, though, was the attention to detail and personalized service.
The sandwich was delicious. I recommend this wonderful place to anybody.. it's a good place for families, friends, lovers to sit, eat and drink.
Found this hidden gem when searching for a new spot to try food for lunch/dinner. All the positive reviews & great sounding food on the menu made up my mind that this is where I was going immediately.
Upon arrival, I was met with a blast from the past with a mom and pop feel. I loved it. It was homey, clean, and plenty of sunshine coming through the front windows. Both owners greeted me with very warm hospitality.
I ordered a mix of a few sandwiches, drinks, and a pizza. Everything was as I expected; fresh, tasty, and great portions, all for a really great price.
Thanks to the reviews and even better experience in person, I’ve found a new spot that I will be regular for. Hats off to the owners who were genuine, kind, and so down to earth. I will be back!

Possibly one of the friendliest places I’ve been for lunch in a while! The staff is very accommodating and helpful and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Caesar has been a joy to talk to every time I have gone in. Would recommend for anything from a quick lunch, a morning coffee, or a nice baked treat!
Best neighborhood store I have seen in a long time. Owners are friendly and welcoming to visitors of the neighborhood. These guys are all smiles & enjoy the community they serve.
I have not seen a store like this in over 20 years & come from a big city they used to have stores like this all over.
While we did not get any food, we did get some Snowballs for the entire family & these did not disappoint one bit. So good!
Highly recommend going to this store whether a full time resident of the area or just visiting.
Wonderful people and wonderful place. Exactly what you would expect from honest small business owners. The place gives you a small town community atmosphere that other chains could never replicate. Food is also fantastic and made to order.
Absolutely amazing food! We got the Italian, Giro, and Thai wrap and all three were excellent! Definitely recommend and will come here again.
