I used to come in here often just to get my head together before work, listen to music and get either a tea or some other drink. Sometimes I just came and sat without purchasing anything but the staff never hassled me. Would recommend this place if you want to get some work done or have a cute little date in a quiet environment. It's never as crowded like the one on Read St. even though they aren't as open as long.

The Bun Shop is a nice and quiet little pastry cafe in Baltimore, MD with a great concept behind it. They serve their own versions of cultural hand-pies/buns from all over the world. The cafe drinks here are also unique and delicious. They pair up great with a lot of the buns they sell. Wish we had a bun shop in Philly!

Just like the original location! Great buns good coffee (so I'm told, don't drink coffee myself) and a good environment to study or have a meeting. They have cool bands here some evenings.

Good coffee and a cool atmosphere. This would be a great place to study or read over a cup of coffee and a tasty pastry.

Your transported to the Grand Budapest Hotel in this large, quiet, yet still cozy hidden gem of a cafe with perfect pastries and coffee. Definitely try the Hong Kong variations in addition to the usual go-tos of Americanos and lattes.

Wasn't there for food. Went to the 3rs floor IHI (Section 8) is also in that building. The ladies who work their are passionate about their job. They go above and beyond, excellent customer service!!!!

Ever eat at a library without books? This is the closest thing to it! Very quiet, very sterile and open environment. The food was pretty good, and the coffee wasn't bad either. They almost refused my gift card because it was for "their other location", but (without me pushing back), they went out of their way to make a phone call and honor it anyway. Not sure if I'd go out of my way to go back, but if I needed to get some work done and was in the area... I'd consider it!
