I got the sushi appetizer, dragon roll, and salmon roll. I love this place because the fish is fresh and decent tasting for the cheap prices. The prices are SO CHEAP. Like I never heard of $12-13 rolls until I went to Yama Sushi 😮

Best sushi spot in Baltimore! Fresh rolls in great bite sizes presented beautifully! Quiet Japanese music in the background with nice Japanese decor that adds to the cosy atmosphere. Attentive but non-intrusive service. They often give complimentary rolls too! Highly recommend!
Service was great and speedy. The sushi dishes were ok but the fried dessert was not what we expected, fried green tea ice cream was pretty running and the crush lacked a flavor, fried cheesecake was pretty basic, we’ve had better. Overall pretty good experience
Fantastic meal. We brought 4 kids under 8 years old to the restaurant. Our kids weren’t on stellar behavior to say the least. The restaurant staff were so kind and patient with them. The food was amazing. They heard us say that it was my moms birthday and brought out a candle lit dessert proactive

Very great experience here! The service & sushi were both excellent! We heard about this place from an online source saying it was the best sushi in Baltimore & I can agree being that it is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! We will definitely be back.
Ordered the sweet potato sushi which was delicious. Topped it off with the fried cheesecake that was absolutely amazing! Service was quick and friendly. Be advised that they're closed on Tuesdays.
Probably the best sushi, and definitely the best service, in the Hampden/Medfield area. They have a ton of great options, and everything is always fresh and delicious, as well as presented beautifully. They're also very considerate of dietary restrictions if you mention something or have questions.
Everything was amazing!! From the sashimi, to the miso🤤, to the Yamasa, to the all star, BBQ squid, Gyoza 🤤. The fish was soooo fresh.

Yama sushi is like a Johns Hopkins cafeteria to me lol. Great price and fresh food. Yakisoba is good but hopefully they would have stir fried udon as well one day.
Nice neighborhood sushi spot. I've dined in once and the service was nice but I usually get take out. The Gyoza, shrimp tempura ans soft shell crab tempura are my favorite. I also like the crazy stone (fried tuna) and the Spiderman roll ( fried soft shell crab). I don't do raw sushi. They are close
I don't eat Japanese food in general. But I loved the place. It's beautiful, quiet, the waiters are nice and they have a menu with many options. The fried cheesecake was a good surprise. The lunch in the weekends has a menu with a special prize. Worth the visit and I'll come back for sure!
My absolute favorite sushi place in Baltimore City. I have been coming here for 7 years and have never found anywhere else that compares. Their prices are spectacular and the staff is amazing.
