Not only are the pizzas phenomenal - the staff here is GREAT. A few months ago, I had a huge package stolen from my front doorstep. The folks at Matthew’s Pizza saw someone carrying it to the bus stop and saved it for me!! They stored it at the pizza shop and even helped me get it back down to my house. They certainly didn’t have to help me out — but they took it upon themselves to look out for a neighbor. SHOUTOUT to Matthew’s Pizza.
I order here whenever I get a chance, and I highly recommend any of the seafood places pies. The marg pizza is awesome, too!

I was recently visiting Baltimore and I’m addicted to pizza and luckily I found this place online when I was looking for a crab pizza… I’m beyond glad I found it!
Long story short I came back here twice within three days just to eat the delicious and generous crab portioned pizza

Saw a video on Youtube about the crab pizza at Matthews and decided to swing by on Saturday. We arrived just after they opened and was greeted by a wonderful female employee (I wish I had her name). Super friendly, very efficient, she allowed me to see the cute little bar downstairs, gave us two anniverary t-shirts, and just has a wonderful friendly vibe. We ordered several different varieties of pizzas and they were all delicious. We'll definitely be back!!! Thank you!!!!

Get the Thai Pie. It's superior to the rest.
I like pizza. I don't usually *love* pizza. I've had pizza all over NYC and Chicago, and it's always been good, but it's never something I've craved. Maybe my tastebuds are broken.
Anyways, since trying the Thai Pie from Matthew's, I've understood the pizza hype. I love this pizza. I crave this pizza.
Through my friends, I've tried a slice of practically every other pie on the menu, and they were all good. The Thai Pie, however, is excellent. The sauce is delicious and interesting, the onions provide an extra bite of flavor, and the lack of excess toppings makes every ingredient shine that much brighter-- a constellation of flavor, if you will. Get it well done if you prefer improved structural integrity, and add pepperoni if you enjoy some meat. It's fantastic either way.

I have recently moved to the DC area and been on the hunt for the DMVs best pizza. Needless to say my quest has brought me all the way to Baltimore and Matthews Pizza for a slice that would satisfy my shore pizza craving… and more. THIS IS IT! Cheese pizza well done. Absolutely wonderful service as they delivered my butcher paper wrapped 10 inch pizza plate. The crust reminded me of a thin focaccia bread crisped to perfection. The sauce is savory and not over sweet. It truly could carry this pizza all in its own. The cheese was well distributed and made the perfect blanket for this neighborhood’s cheesy treasure.

I visited today on my trip to Baltimore, I must say it was goood nice thick crust buttery crust to compliment the taste of the crab pizza the place is traditional but still if it’s not broke don’t fix it definitely recommend if you’re in Baltimore

BEST pizza in Maryland !!! this is a small neighborhood restaurant so be prepared to wait for a table(it is worth it). the Salads are fresh and large enough to share with 3 or 4 people. the pasta is delicious but the Pizza is the best i drive one hour just for this pizza.

Must try their crab pizza. Nice pan style crust that was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, topped with generous amount of amazing crab meat, with little bits of onion to add flavor. One of the most unique and delicious pizza I’ve had and would definitely be back for their crab pizza if I’m ever back in Baltimore.
