This has become our go-to place once or twice a week! Excellent Gyros. My daughter has to eat gluten free and it's great for that since you are talking to the owner when you place your order. It's a good feeling to know that there won't be cross contamination when the order goes to the kitchen because everything is made in front of you.
This truly is a hidden gem on Manchester Road's miles of fast food places. We highly recommend it!

I have always loved this place for their food, convenient location and pleasant employees, but my experience tonight just tops the list of reasons you should support this restaurant. I'm a single mom who works 2 jobs, sometimes 3. Today, after a full day of work, then taking care of a friend's dogs, on of whom is a boxer unable to walk who has to be carried and lots of extra care paid to her, I was running back home to Ballwin from O'Fallon to take care of my own pets before heading back over. The whole drive home, I was craving a gyro and falafel and happily pulled into the Yiro/Gyro lot. I didn't realize they were closing in 15 minutes. I HATE being that person and would normally leave once I realized that. Yet the employees were exceptionally kind and made the most delicious meal ever, even threw in a free fountain drink and 2 extra falafel! If you are looking for an amazing, healthy meal in a clean, pleasant environment with an exceptional customer service experience, you have no other choice but to go to Yiro/Gyro!!!
Finally have an excellent Gyro place in Ballwin/Ellisville! The doner Kebab is the way to go. The doner bread is amazing. Was happy to hear that we don't have to drive 45 minutes into the City to get a decent Gyro!

if you haven't tried this place yet I recommend it 100% great, clean, fresh tasting food that will leave you craving more once you leave the door. The atmosphere is open and friendly and they prepare your food exactly how you want it!

Wow! This location of Yiro/Gyro didn’t show up on the maps app, but definitely glad we turned around and went back! ��� Delicious! The special today - Chicken Shawarma over basmati rice was incredible and my husband enjoyed the Doner Kebab as well! Our daughter customized a salad and was quite pleased. The presentation was great and portions were large and priced very reasonably! Incredibly friendly owner and staff, all the food was freshly prepared and very flavorful. We will be back for sure! I LOVE gyros, but I have a new food allergy, so I'm on a "clean diet." When I requested the specifics of ingredients in a gyro there, Freddy happily obliged. He made my order to accommodate my dietary restrictions.
I am so stoked they serve food that I can eat! My chicken gyro was delicious, and I stopped by a few days later, because I craved another! Great service, great food, comfortable atmosphere, outdoor seating, fair prices- an awesome little place all-around! Thanks, Freddy! :)

Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday with a friend, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and warmth of this restaurant. Many times, I feel so rushed while eating out, but the staff was very patient as we looked over the menu, ordered and chose our table. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the TVs had a relaxing combination of videos (aquarium, nature, etc). I could practically feel my blood pressure dropping in the calming environment. I ordered the gyro nachos which my friend said were “like crack.” 😆 He ordered a gyro and salad which were very good as well. We ordered one of each of the homemade baklava to go, and I highly recommend saving room for it! Don’t sleep on this one.
This place is amazing. Dot had the classic gyro+fries, hubs had the beef shawarma +fries and I had the lablabi bowl. All were excellent. Dot also had a smoothie and hubs had Turkish coffee. Highly recommend.
If you are looking at these reviews trying to figure out where you want to eat, this is the place. The two gentlemen that were working were extremely kind. The gyros were amazing and the fries were to die for. We also got the baklava and it was absolutely delicious. The store its self has a very nice feel to it and the bathrooms are very clean. All around a wonderful experience. I will definitely be going again and you should too.
I love this little gem of a restaurant in Ellisville! They have the best gyros in town. Did I mention I don’t like gyros? Well now I do! The chicken gyros is so delicious with wonderful spices and very tender. The owner is so kind and the customer service is amazing.
I am only in St. Louis few weeks a year. I come originally from the Middle East and let me tell you this: This place offers THE BEST falafel in town!
