New Owners!!. Hi All, my sister and I just purchased Olive's Eatery in Baldwinsville NY on May 17. We are excited about the opportunity! We have replaced the chef with someone who has worked there for 5 years, Lisa is terrific! We have already hosted two wedding showers and our brides-to-be were extremely happy!! We have changed the menu a bit adding new appetizers, salads, sandwiches and desserts! Bruschetta, hummus, Summer spinach salad with strawberries and honey dressing, Pizzelles with warm chocolate dipping sauce and whipped cream! And it is all about you, our customer and service. Awesome!. My family and I love to go here for a wonderful lunch! The food here is delicious! The owner is very nice! She works very hard to please her customers! I strongly recommend the wonderful restaurant, if your in a mood for a delicious meal! She also has wonderful shopping!
Love it here!. I love to come here with my friends for a little "girls" lunch. The shops upstairs make it that much more special. I have always been greeted with a smile. Love the outdoor seating during the summertime but the indoor is just as cute. Really feel I do get my money's worth. The salads are the perfect size..I have never had a problem with adjusting orders or if I wanted to add anything. Never had a send a dish back and I feel I can enjoy my time. I have stayed and chatted with my friends for 2+hrs during lunch and never felt pressured to "leave." I love the staff and the owner Deb. I have only known about this place since the beginning of this year but it is a location I always take my out of town guests. Keep up the good work!
A Hidden Gem. While visiting the Syracuse area, we were sent to one of the most special
places we had ever encountered.
Everything from the gardens to the greeting of the emplyee's and wait staff.
Excellence in every way. My family thoroughly enjoyed our experience
at Olives Eatery and I can't recommend this place enough to anyone looking
for something unique and special. The quality of the food and delightful presentation
of it was creative and innovative. Whenever we visit the Syracuse area, it will be worth
the 10 minute ride from Syracuse to Baldwinsville.
Great Escape. Hungry and wanting to try something different,I stopped In Olives Eatery/Cottage Designs. The second I walked in I could smell the homemade soup that I knew I would have to sample. I first checked out the connected Cottage Designs that is a classy womens oriantated boutique filled with jewlery, fashion and gifts. I was seated in the garden cafe style seating area and ordered Lisa's Garbanzo bean soup, Special Veggie Panni w/ side salald , cream puffs and a pot of tea. The service was so nice and attantative the food above anythig in the area as you listened to soft French/ Europian music. I highly recommend this for a girls retreat or if a guy needs a special gift and/orLunch/ Dinner.When the weather warms a bit the verenda area will be open for out side dining..
Italian French Fusion Bistro!. Would you like to be transported from Baldwinsville to Europe in seconds? Step inside Olives Eatery and you will! Such a great place with wonderful fresh food! I have been frequenting this establishment periodically for over a year. Always fast friendly service! The "VV" is my favorite! Everyone I bring here loves it! Outdoor seating is wonderful on warm days!

Pros: Cute francophile atmosphere. Healthy choice from the nominal transfat eateries in B'Ville. Total Gal Pal restaurant. Cons: Expensive for a good not great panini shop. Bland (I never add salt, except here). Ask for a glass and cause a stir. Probably won't return. My wife might.
It was -5 outside last week, but warm and welcoming at Cottage Designs & Olives Eatery. After finding the perfect Mackenzie-Childs Courtly Check platter for an old friend, I took a few moments to take in the beauty of Cottage Designs interior. It was a feast for the eyes. Hearing the sounds of a bustling kitchen lead me through the doorway to Olives Eatery. I left with an Antipasto and a Mediterrean salad and some lovely toasted focaccia bread. My husband, son and I enjoyed these delicious, fresh salads when I returned home. I met the lovely owner, Deb Case, and we talked of summertime at Olives Eatery on the patio. Through the cold of the winter, I could actually imagine how wonderful it will be to share a fun evening with some dear friends in the courtyard. Make a trip to Cottage Designs with some friends, do some shopping and the enjoy a lovely lunch. It'll be worth the trip!

Happy Birthday!. I enjoyed a most delightful birthday luncheon at Olive's Eatery! The creativity of the restaurant and adjoining shop never ceases to amaze me. The variety of boutiques on the second floor offer a great selection of unique items. My favorite panini is the V-V..perfectly grilled to a soft crisp and filled to the brim with honey roasted turkey, brie cheese, granny apple and a cranberry relish. A side of orzo, cole slaw or green salad make a beautiful presentation. The petite desserts served in a crystal cup topped with cream and a cherry are a perfect ending to a perfect lunch - my favorite - the apricot marzipan - WOW! Miss Debra's staff is professional, friendly and eager to please. I love to invite family and friends for a delightful dining and shopping experience!
Excellent Evening in the Wine Grotto. 21 of us had a spectacular evening of wine, food & fun in the Wine Grotto at Olives Eatery. The food was fresh and wait staff very friendly....and their big wine glasses ensure you fully enjoy your generous glass of wine! We will certainly go back.
Great experience! My husband and I had dinner here and really enjoyed the food, staff and outdoor seating. Soft tacos with chicken, cashews and wasabi were very good. We also shared the ensalata for 2, and each had a mini dessert (great size!)

A Refreshing Oasis - OLIVES. The menu is so varied and appealing to all appetites . The food is delicious, and the atmosphere very different, yet so relaxing and inviting. Service and food quality is A#1. Like someone else stated, a hidden gem. Try it ; you will be so pleasantly delighted. If you get a chance or if you still have room, try the homemade Rice Pudding! You will beg them for the recipe!
Tappas & Wine. A beautiful place to linger with friends in the courtyard, sipping wine and enjoying tappas near a fountain, spring, summer & fall.
In the winter and all year, wonderful Italian & French cuisine lunches, monthly strolling fashion shows, and browsing afterward in the boutique. Unusual and unique items for all ages. My friends and I just love Olives, you shouldn't miss this gem.
A must go to place!. I have been eating there since it has opened and have brought many people for lunch from downtown. They all love it and return with new friends. This is a hidden gem.
Olives Eatery. Olives is a little gem in Baldwinsville...a charming cafe with a French flare. Eat inside, or outside on the veranda or patio. The lunch menu includes a delightful array of gourmet salads and sandwiches as well as grilled pannini and homemade soups. They also offer wine, beer and tapas from 4 to 6 pm, I believe Tuesday through Saturday. Every meal we've had there has been excellent, and the service is great. After lunch you can browse through the boutique in the front room and upstairs.
Cute lil restaurant with great paninis and good deserts. However, the service was less than desirable... waitress seemed as though she REALLY didn't want to be there. She never smiled and would very rarely even come to the table! We were there on a Friday around 11:30 and we were a party of 8 women. If we were given good service, I would definitely have returned... but sadly, this was not the case. Everyone in our group noticed that something was amiss with our waitress. I hope nothing was seriously wrong with her...
Had lunch with a friend here because we had a gift certificate. I’m so happy we did! This is an adorable setting for a fun lunch with friends. The decor is whimsical and fun. The service was prompt and attentive but the best part by far is the food! I had the Cubby panini with the warm orzo for my side. The chicken salad was made with brown sugar chicken and dill mayo. The orzo side dish was creamy and cheesy with the perfect amount of peas. My friend had the VV and the warm orzo as well. The VV was filled with turkey and Granny Smith apples and warm melted Brie. Following lunch we shopped in the boutique upstairs and found lots of great clothes and accessories.

What a great place! First time here the service was great, everyone is so friendly such a beautiful place. The food was good and the fashion show was good too. Wonderful lunch date with my three daughters we will definitely be back again.

What an upscale and classy establishment! I tried out this hidden little gem in Baldwinsville on Saint Patrick's Day and had a wonderful experience. Not only was the service exceptional, the owner was very welcoming and the atmosphere in this eatery made you feel like you we're at home. Now to the food... I ordered the Potato and leek soup which had the perfect consistency. It was not too creamy and the flavor was on point. For my entree I ordered the Reuben with a side of their Orzo. I can honestly say that this Reuben was the best I have ever had. (And I've had a lot of those over the years). The Orzo was sooo tasty. I am glad I picked that option for the side. To sum it up..... based on my experience that day, I recommend anyone looking for great food, comfortable atmosphere, and exceptional service to try out Olive's Eatery. Lastly, I had a chance to check out the shops upstairs and I was really impressed with what they have to offer for apparel, decor, and so much more. Five Stars across the board ladies. Can't wait to stop in again!

Nice lunch out on the patio. We visited on a weekday, right at lunchtime and were seated right away. Sandwiches and drinks were good. Would come back.
ADORABLE brunch place with the girls! Downstairs is a eatery and some trinkets and niknaks to buy. Upstairs is a shared artistic space for local artists to sell their work! Everything from pottery to clothes to kitchen wear. A place you must visit!

It's a very cute little place. We got lucky and they had a table available. Next time we will make a reservation. The service was very good. The food was amazing. We got paninis and they were very tasty. The side of parmesan orzo with peas was awesome.
We didn't get desserts but they sounded good too.

Olive’s never disappoints! Everything is always fresh and delicious and their chocolate mousse is to die for. Reservations recommended; it’s a small, intimate space. (And make sure you check out all the unique little boutiques upstairs!)
This was our first time here. Very convenient to make a reservation. Everything was phenomenal from decor, friendly servers, food and the way it was presented and talked to one of the owners.She was very nice and made you feel like you were at home. My daughter loves it and she's about as picky as it comes. Highly recommend!!

An eclectic small restaurant serving up sandwiches, salads, soups, and appetizers. They have converted a house into this restaurant with outside seating and indoor with an ever changing decor. They have also used some of the space for vendors where you can get some interesting gifts for friends. I love places like this, definitely worth checking out.

Small, quaint eatery with very personalized service. Limited but quality menu. They offer daily specials. You will find something to suit your tastes here. Niche eatery offering healthy food options and small plates/appetizers, as well as full meals. Nice garden area. Seating is not "intimate," but you can have a quiet, personal conversation there. Excellent lunch place, or if you're looking for a quick appetizer/snack to hold you until dinner. Very popular with locals. Parking is towards the river side, and then walk a short distance to the restaurant.
Great food! I ordered the Pork Quesadilla and Caesar salad for takeout. Friendly service and good size portions. Maybe a little pricey, but I'm sure due to covid, they've been hurting. Happy to support a local business and will be back!
