Review Gino's Pizza - Baldwin

The food is good, it already depends on taste to be able to give an opinion but in my case the food is good. My children love pizza. The atmosphere is calm, although if you go on a Friday or Saturday you should be willing to wait for your order since these are days when there are too many customers. It could be that they improve the phone service, there they need to pay more attention.

This place is awesome. A great place to meet up and hang out, it is located right in the center of East Meadow and is huge inside. It's right on a strip mall with some other small stores. They also have my favorite pizza slice that I never see anywhere else, the Grandpa slice. It has onions and breadcrumbs that make it fantastic. I definitely recommend checking it out.

This pizzeria has one of the better plain pizza (Neopolitan pie) in the neighborhood. Their specialty pies are good too, but are a bit more expensive than other pizzerias with similar specialty pies. Service was fast and staff was friendly. Restaurant has a nice dining atmosphere. Sometimes, may have difficulty finding parking which can be busy at times with the supermarket, pharmacy, small hardware, and other stores sharing the same parking lot.

Staff is warm and friendly. Owner is very generous and donated a gift certificate to St.Christopher's Feast raffle booth. Ordered a thin crust pizza with slices of meatballs and waited for it. You can have it delivered if you prefer. It was done in about 25 minutes. Brought the pizza pie home. It was loaded with meatballs, mozzarella, and sauce. Absolutely delicious 😋!!

Best Pizza in Baldwin as far as I'm concerned. Always tasty and guaranteed to satisfy the finicky pizza critics. Always my first choice and love the different varieties in choices. My favorite, the 'Grandma'.

We traveled all the the way from Queens NY just to have Ginos. We had so much to eat from pizza slices, wings, calamari and lots more. Everything was deliciously tasteful. But most of all we were so happy with services from Ceylan. She is an absolute sweetheart, kind and hardworking. Thank you so much Ceylan.

We've ordered from Gino's a couple of times since our move to Baldwin. Though, we are still exploring our new area, Gino's Pizza has now become our go-to pizzeria. We haven't dined-in or picked-up. We have enjoyed the foods they offer. Their pizza is delicious and customizable. Our first order was for our movers and contractors, and they were all eating and smiling, shaking their heads in approval... not a single slice left for us (our family) to try, so we decided to order for ourselves at another point in time, and yep... we were doing the same thing... eating, smiling, shaking our heads in approval. Delicious. Hit the spot! From the time of order to delivery, we have experienced quick and thorough service, and really great, friendly personnel. Pizza and other foods ordered arrived hot and steamy. We don't live too far out from them, so this was expected. We heard about Gino's through our kind neighbors who order from here often. They mentioned that "Gino's is the best"... and so far, so awesome, I absolutely agree! We still have much to explore, but Gino's Pizza will be our #1.

This is an update as I deleted my old negative review. We waited a while and started ordering Geno’s’s again and found that Gino’s back on top of their game!! Last three times they got it perfect. Let’s see how long this streak last. We’re hoping it was a temporary slump. I must say I was referring to their delivery orders. The restaurant itself is a great place to stop and have a quick bite or a casual place to hang out and take your time eating.

Whenever I come to New York I look forward to getting Gino’s. I think I s the best pizza around.

We have been eating at this family run pizza and restaurant for many years. The food and service is very good!

Visited New York this week and all my son wanted was Gino’s pizza from his youth. We went in around lunchtime and ordered a pie and some garlic knots. The food was great, but my wife didn’t think it was as good as three years ago when we last had it. The basil was dry basil shaken on, not the fresh, leaf basil she remembers. The waitresses were friendly and polite, but did not check on us as often as they could have. Overall a good experience, but could have been better. My son loved his pizza, so that made it good enough for me.

Pizza is always great and the guys at the counter always are too... But order anything out of the kitchen and its hit or miss. I order the same salad all the time and it gets made differently each and every time. Their is no consistency with anything that comes from the kitchen. I ordered a baby arugula salad tonight and the apple that was in it was brown and mushy, like it was bad when cut and then sat around too long. Each and every time I order, I am more and more disappointed. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone way down. Review #2: Once again.... For the tenth time in a row (at least), I have to call after my food is delivered. Bread is hard as a rock, the $3 chicken for the salad was a chopped up 1/2 piece of old chicken and toppings from the other salad are missing... These are salads, how hard are salads??? I call and don't even get an apology. Just they will send more chicken. Nothing on the salad toppings or anything else. How about "I'm sorry that you have to do this every time and you're expressing how unsatisfactory our food has been?" Just disgraceful how this place has rapidly gone down hill. It's good for a slice, but anything else it's over priced and not even worth it. I can say I will never be ordering anything from here anymore. With the amount of places to eat in the area, it's not worth giving you my money.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT ON 6-1-18 I called to commend the delivery driver who advised me he saw my neighbor pulled to the ground by a dog. He then ran across the street with the pizza STILL IN HIS HAND to help me get my neighbor up off the ground. I called to speak to the manager on duty to commend him but he COULD CARE LESS!! I work with the public and KNOW that people hardly ever take the time to have good things to say about customer service. This “manager” not only continuously spoke over me but he then RUDELY rushed me off the phone. In other words ... the delivery man was the ONLY good experience tonight from this location that my family has ordered from going back to the Vincents days. Maybe Gino’s of Baldwin NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT AND HUMAN RESOURCE TRAINING!!! It’s 2018 be grateful for the business not greedy. To the delivery man ... (who’s name the manager wouldn’t give me bc he was so rude)My family and neighbors would like to Thank you for helping us out as much as you did as for your manager ... he’s THE WORST!!!
