Review Sushi N Grill - Bakersfield

Officially one of my two favorite places in Bakersfield for Sushi! Maya was absolutely amazing; she was so knowledgeable and patient (I asked a lot of questions). Exceptional service by all staff during lunch hour. I did not wait to be seated, and food came out quickly. Super impressed. If you love sushi, you’ve gotta try this place.

A tad pricey but worth it for the super tasty food, if you dine in the vibe is modern but cozy. The service was good and did not take too long for our food, this may vary as it wasn’t very busy when I went, They have a great variety of apps and sushi, they also have local and Asian beer and sake with some wine if you prefer that. Overall a great place that I return to often.

Okay sushi, was served a roll with no ginger. I would expect that accidently in a take and go order, or in a simple roll. It had plenty of sitting and no wait. So that says everything in Bakersfield.

I would have given 5 stars simply for the service. Wish I had taken the name of our server. She was attentive, timely. Checked in often and with great timing. Felt really spoiled. Never had a need really as she was so on top of everything. Rolls were just okay. Overpriced in my opinion. Nothing spectacular. Maybe decent at best. But her service really made up for the lack of love with the rolls. Wasabi was horrible. I like a hot spice and added an insane amount of wasabi yet no flavor to it and no spice. Maybe they can't help that, though. I honestly compared the rolls to that of grocery store rolls for twice the price at least. Only ordered rolls though, maybe the other menu items offered more, I can't know that . I've definitely had worse, and also much, much better for less of a ticket price. 104$ for 4 rolls and 2 bottles of medium quality saki. Spent money much better elsewhere. The service earned the stars here, or else rolls were a 2 on their own.

The spider rolls are delicious and for a good price! Lived in Berkeley for 7 years and this is the best Sushi spot I have tried so far. 10/10

Service is great! We tried the Hawaiian, Energy, Tiffany and Caterpillar rolls and all were good. I also tried a poke bowl and it"s okay. My 2nd favorite sushi spot in Bakersfield.
