Review Filling Station - Bakersfield

I’m typing this review as I sit in my car Waiting, it’s been at least 30 mins and there is only one car in front of me. The coffee is delicious and customer service is great. A 4 star because they take a little to long

I really enjoy the drinks here. Definitely recommend the organic iced tea (peachy peachy). My rating is due to the long wait times. I waited 20min in line with only two vehicles in front of me. I understand it is a small operation but that it way too long to wait for drinks.

You may have to wait if they are busy, let me tell you it is well worth it. The prices are fair and the flavors are amazing. Forget starbucks this place is way beyond what they can do. I recommend you try it at least once and you'll be hooked.

The coffee was so well brewed! I got a brown butter vanilla latte? It was incredible! Id come back

This is such a great shop at an excellent location for getting the morning coffee and picking up the evening wine. I had a delicious hot chocolate that the staff warmed up for when I had half a cup left. I enjoyed sitting on the outside benches while I finished my plan for the day. It was truly an enjoyable "coffee break" (hot chocolate for me!) And I will be back again soon! Many Blessings

Just driving by the filling station, you probably wouldn't realize it's a coffee stand. Their brewed coffee is pretty good, better than Starbucks I'd say. The specialty lattes are tasty too - and there are so many flavors and combos to choose from! My favorites are the Mexican Mocha and Kahlua White Russian (hot, not blended). Their iced teas are great too! I haven't tried many but peachy beachy is yummy! If there is already a line of cars waiting, it's easy to get impatient. But stick with it, the drinks are worth it!

Decided to try this coffee shop and support local rather than go to my usual Dunkin or McD's. Had enough time to look over the entire menu thoroughly, there was only one car in front of me. The woman had already gotten her coffee, paid, placed her empty coffee cup and trash into the sliding tray for the owner to throw away for her, and kept talking and talking and talking. I waited for at least 10 min and there was no end in sight. I understand as an owner you cant just shoo someone away but I knew he didnt really care when he continued to ask open ended questions to encourage it rather than seeing he had another customer and attempting to thank her and wish her a good day. Rude in my opinion, I reversed and went to the other window and there was no one there. I was forced to go to my beloved Dunkin where the line and coffee flows and your time is respected.

Good coffee shop on the corner of the street, they have drive thru. My friend purchased coffee and said it tastes really good. We compared prices and this shop is cheaper than lot of places and even the taste is better. This is one of the oldest coffee shops and have good flow of people visiting this coffee shop. It’s in Baketsfield down town really busy place I guess it’s because of taste and also it’s very it’s as it’s in the corner of two streets. People also park their cars and get inside the store to get their coffee and other stuff. Staff are extremely friendly and real quick in service. Overall it a good experience at this coffee shop. They gave structured parking apart from drive thru, also the drive through is on both sides.

I didn't know what I wanted to order by looking at the menu. I just told the Barista what I would like tho, and she suggested something that would fit all of the different things I wanted. It was delicious!!!! My caramel macchiato extra shot of espresso with chocolate whipped cream Totally hit the spot, and inexpensive even tho I added a bagel with cream cheese on the side. Less $ than Starbucks, and my drink was definitely made with love. It was fresh, not the bottom of the pot tasting coffee as I seem to always get from Starbucks, and my bagel was from the local Smith's Bakery. Sorry Starbucks you've lost a customer to The Filling Station and I'm telling everyone the quality and prices are are soooooo much better at The Filling Station!!!!

The Filling Station folks have always been good family friendly people. They have a wide variety of good tasting drinks, and they really have a great local community way of running a top notch coffee place.

I especially appreciated the options/ variety! I had the Vivache and it was 24 ounces of great coffee! My new stop when in Bakersfield!

I love that they have so many different flavors to choose from. My favorite is the chocolate and banana frappe.💖

Surprisingly reasonable and competitive prices for exceptional coffee with wonderful service. Definitely my new go-to stop when i drive through the area!

I am so in love with this place. Best tea options EVER and they are happy to blend different kinds together to make it just perfect. They’re having a 75th anniversary special $.75 cup of Mocha or Hot Cocoa. I made the mistake of trying the hot cocoa and now I’m addicted. It’s absolutely the BEST I’ve ever had. Wonderful service with a smile every time!

Cute place and concept - an old gas station reinvented Organic coffee was perfectly "seasoned" and the nut-chocolate biscotti was really nutty. Great place to sit (outside on old picnic benches) if you're waiting for your car to get fixed at Pep Boys across the street (as I was).

Great coffee. .. but there is one worker there that's needs to work on her customer service we always have to wait along time and she has attitude. .. maybe it's because I went to school with her but I was never a mean guy other than that it's great

I LOVE the filling station but some of the girls they hire are horrible employees that have terrible customer service and attitudes. Drinks taste great, prices are awesome I give that a 5 Star. As for the workers, a 1.
