Have known about this restaurant since my daughter was a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo more than two decades ago. The food was everything that was expected. My sandwich had thick pieces of tri tip with BBQ sauce that was yummy. Could skip the salt with enough sauce on my sandwich. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich. His cole slaw was on the side and luckily for me he does not like it. I ate every bite. One of the best and freshest I have ever eaten. Delicious! Sent my daughter a picture of our food. She was very jealous. The place was bright and clean. Nice people working there. I liked that you had the choice of self serve or full service. Want to go back next time we pass through Bakersfield.

This place is so awesome. Love the atmosphere,the food, and even better the price. Comparable to Buffalo wild wings but half the price. Great family place. And the tri tip sandwich is the best!
