Olympic Restaurant

I visited this establishment Friday Fed. 25, 2022. I will not be going back and I will discourage as many people as I can to not go there. The hostess, the lady that had on black pants and red or pink shirt, is not welcoming to all race beside her own. I was doing a pick up and she took her time to assist me, and she was available to do so because when a white woman came in behind me she acknowledged her right away. It took everything in me to control my anger, mind you I was standing there a good 10 minutes prior. I would advise the owner to take a look into this because she is position there to give a first impression, and she failed miserably zero customer service skills. This seems to be a fairly busy place, and that type of attitude should not be allowed. The other employees I came into contact with treated me with respect, and that’s what honestly calm me down and I was thankful for that. The food not to happy about, the wing only had sauce on 3 of them, the salad was soggy not crispy at all. The only thing I was happy with was the mash potatoes and gravy. I stood there and saw the waiter bring the food out to people and it really look good, so I don’t know what was the deal on my food, $34 wasted. But again I will not be returning due to that first impression, nobody is better than the other and everyone should be treated as such.

Herbie was a phenomenal server he was so attentive even made sure to tell us about the rugaking sure neither one of us tripped on it. My daughter is 9 months pregnant and I am a klutz so I really appreciated it. He also made sure we had it food in a reasonable amount of time. Amazing food as well. The fried zucchini was delicious. My 1st time ever being there and I will most definitely go back.

This restaurant is amazing. I was surprised to find such a great place in the area. The quality and quantity are outstanding. The host/owner Maria is incredibly warm and the hospitality was tops. The variety of the menu OMG and the wine and cocktails fabulous. I was pleasantly surprised and will be a regular.

It wasn’t good. Clams were burnt, baked potato wasn’t done, chopped sirloin was over cooked, and the service was extremely slow. They weren’t that busy but it took 30 minutes to get salads. The waiter was friendly enough, but he was clearly new and made 3 trips to the kitchen for 3 things he forgot, that we asked for all at the same time. I’m okay with someone who’s learning. But the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The hostess seemed very stressed, and didn’t like that I asked to sit outside. I won’t go back. Also, the salad bar doesn’t exist anymore. I assume our bad experience was a culmination of staff shortages and cost cutting.
