Cave Bistro is a gluten free farm to table byob restaurant. They have their menu online and also their fresh catch and meat dish of the day. Since the menu is small it would be a good idea to also add an appetizer special as well to keep regulars intrigued. I had the crab cake and the grass fed beef sliders as appetizers. I didn’t care much for the crab cake, and I wouldn’t order it again. The grass beef sliders were very good! The mini burgers were so tender and juicy! I’m going to have to order their burger here next time. It must be delicious! The grass fed beef sliders would of been fantastic if they were in mini bread rolls, but it’s a gluten free restaurant so there is no bread. For entrees I had the strip steak and the cobia special. The strip steak was very good! It was accompanied with duck fat truffle fries and spinach. I loved the fries too! The only thing is this restaurant doesn’t have ketchup! The chef believes that the way he prepares his burgers and fries ketchup is not needed! I totally disagree! The best fries and burgers in the world still taste even better with ketchup! If you want ketchup bring your own bottle from home. The pan seared cobia was excellent! That dish was accompanied with tomato avocado salad which was very good! For desserts I had the brownie and the cheesecake. The brownie was FANTASTIC! You would never even know it was gluten free! The cheesecake was horrible! The bottom was burnt and hard as a rock! The cheesecake part wasn’t that great either! Overall, I thought most of the dishes here were very good! I love farm to table restaurants, and I definitely will be adding this restaurant to my rotation. I recommend dining at Cave Bistro in Avon By The Sea!

We absolutely love Cave. The food is always phenomenal. We drive over an hour just to have it. The burgers and wraps are mouth watering just to think about. The Bison, Duck and the Egg is possibly my personal favorite...those the Brisket and Chicken Salad Wraps are a very close second. Also, dessert here is a must! The nut butter brownies are ad close as you can get to a brownie lava cake, it's both beautifully chewy and gooey all at the same time. Cave' is our go to for every celebration we have. Christmas, Anniversary, heck we went to celebrate the purchase of our home.

My favor go-to restaurant. Since I am gluten-free, it is a treat to go to a restaurant where I can have anything on the menu. Delicious, fresh and perfectly prepared using local, organic produce and the highest quality, non-processed meats. If you are choosy about what you eat, check it out.

My wife and I have dined here twice now. We absolutely loved it both times (and once was in the middle of a torrential downpour, but the awnings kept us dry)! Would highly recommend to all people, not just paleo/whole 30 followers. Truly an awesome meal for anyone. We have had both burgers, the bone broth, and multiple salads. Looking forward to trying some other entree options. Best part about the restaurant are the quality ingredients they use. Such a treat to be able to have a French fry that was not fried in vegetable oil (they use duck fat). Also great to feel excellent after indulging on burgers and fries when normally this type of food would leave my wife and I feeling horribly for multiple hours afterwards! Will be coming back many times in the future!

Overall: Great cafe with amazing service. Pleasant area to eat and the waitress' service was prompt. BYOB with regards to alcohol policy. This was my first time in awhile eating a gluten free place and I have to say I couldn't tell the difference! The food was delicious including the desserts. Favorite dish had to be the grass-fed beef sliders (small plate dish).

The bone marrow burger, the bison burger, and the vegetable curry were all insanely good. I'm not a huge soup fan but the tomato basil soup was thick, rich, dairy free, and probably the best soup I've ever had. I've been back many times since my first visit.
