I haven't been to this Arthur Treacher's restaurant since I was a kid, but the food is just as good as I remember. I complimented the crew for keeping up the quality. You won't find food sitting under the lamps getting dried out here. They make every order fresh! I've had my share of disappointments at other places, claiming to serve Arthur Treacher's original Fish and Chips that didn't even come close. Please, if you're in town, stop by and tell them I said it's well worth it!

My husband and I drive over an hour to come here and eat. The owner is very nice and pleasant. Food is very good have had everything on the menu. Never have we had a bad meal from here. Grilled fish is the best I have had in years. The people who own this place really take pride in what they do and truly want to keep their customers happy.
Stopped in to use a gift certificate for the family and I. Got a mix of fish and chicken plus a couple crab cakes that were on special.
We were impressed to say the least, both the chicken and fish were fresh and not greasy or too salty, the hush puppies were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Fries were hot and fresh and my son and wife loved the crab cakes.
Definitely recommend stopping in, we definitely will.

The only thing that’s changed is the name! Same delicious fish & chips as before!!!
If you’re thinking about it, DO IT! Absolutely delicious. Just like Arthur Treachers. Grilled fish meal was awesome. Chips were crispy and chicken didn’t have that fish taste like long John silvers. Prices aren’t bad at all either. Cheap and you get a lot, plus their food is better than fast food.
If you haven't visited captain Arthur's you really should.
Support this place!!! Easiest 5-star rating I've ever given! New name, but same Arthur Treacher's food that I remember, going back 40 years—maybe better now. Fresh, hot and delicious—very friendly staff—clean restaurant. This is a rare opportunity—there were over 800 of these in Ohio in their prime—it's down to just one in Akron and here in Austintown—technically this Captain Arthur's broke away from the corporate chain, but everything I care about is still the same. I would argue it's consistently the best "fast food" fish, clams, shrimp... even fries and hushpuppies I've ever eaten in my life (everything is a solid notch above Long John Silver's), and WE'VE STILL GOT ONE HERE in the Youngstown area! I hope loyal and new customers keep it that way for many more years to come.

The restaurant is getting a bit of a facelift, so that was great. The food was hot. The lady informed us of am upcoming name change to the restaurant, she didn't say what the new name was. The food is supposed to stay the same. I felt like the fish was a bit fishier tasting than normal and the hush puppies weren't either cooked all the way or they changed the recipe. Love the tarter sauce and fries. Look forward to the unique taste if the Arthur Treacher's taste. I will be back next time I get a hankering for it!
The only place that still serves Arthur treacher's fish and chips everything is the same only the name has changed the two owners are very wonderful women that cared enough to keep that place going. The inside is now open was just there today still the best food.
