Best sushi in the area best shrimp egg rolls. I ordered the spider roll ir had soft shell crab inside the Philly roll and the yellow tail roll. Please see picture. Then you must try the soda pop very delicious food here.
The food was sO fRiGgIn GoOd!!!!! And I'm not exaggerating when I say that the service was so above and beyond any reasonable expectation - I was literally blown away! They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. We tried several dishes and every single one was a knockout. I 1,000% recommend this restaurant. I made a reservation just in case, but there were only a few other diners, which allowed us to be lavished with attention. Our server was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The Emperor roll was delectable, and the DragonBall was a very close second. This is definitely a hidden gem of a sushi place. I've uploaded some photos of our plates.
Very surprised by this little place. The sushi we ordered was delicious and on par with mizu and the other bigger chains.

We stopped in for the first time today, and the food was phenomenal! Portions were priced and sized right for lunch and the freshness and quality were top notch. The atmosphere was relaxing and friendly as were the staff who provided exceptional service.
Was our first time there and let me just say it’s my favorite hibachi place now. The food is amazing, the filet literally melted in my mouth. The service was great and the owner was so nice. We had a large party of 11 and they went above and beyond for us. Great place and people.
My wife Kazuyo and I had a wonderful experience at Hanami Express. Hanami (花見) (はなみ) means the act of watching Sakura (桜) ( さくら) or cherry blossoms 🌸 in full bloom. While Sakura is out of season the dining room atmosphere was clean and cozy with very nicely done decorations. Service was friendly and very acceptable.
My wife and I ordered Age Tofu and the Hanami boat for two. Boats normally come with nigiri and sashimi of salmon, yellow fin, red and white tuna. We normally try to order a sushi boat for two at every sushi restaurant we try. Hanami did not let us down. We were surprised to also be served squid. The two maki (rolls) we selected was the Hanami and Sakura maki. Both very delicious. The Hanami roll has an outer layer of seaweed salad and was delicious.
We would like to thank our server for a great experience. Thank you for taking care of us and ensuring our order was correct.
Next time we visit my parents I hope to visit Hanami Express again.

Update 3/13, 8 months after frequent visits, 1-2 times a week:
Try this:
1. Chicken fried rice or combinatuom fried rice.
2. Sushi sashimi combo
2. Chicken hibachi
You will know what "Master" means.
I traveled New York, New Jersy, Atlanta, Huntsville, Montgomery, Nashville for long term biztrips, I dare to say this store is the best among all I visited.
I just asked the chef's name for the first time and wanted to tell Daniel,the chef, he is the best chef I have ever met after 1 year eating once or twice a week here, mostly pickup. Today I picked up my last order, combo fried rice and sushi sashimi combo.
Also, I wanted to say his wife and server how much I appreciated their caring service, but I am too shy.
I think they deserve success more than now because they are the best team.

We had 4 different kinds of sushi rolls and dumplings. All were tasty and good quality. The prices are reasonable as well.
The sushi was excellent! I have a sensitive stomach and had no issues from their food and it as delicious!
By far best sushi I have had in state and out. Highly recommend the dynamite roll. Service is top notch, everyone is so friendly. Crab Rangoon is so so so so good too. 10/10
We hosted a party and had a massive order of hibachi and sushi. The lady who took my order over the phone was SO nice and was so happy to take my order, and assured us we would have a great dinner for our party. They got the order correctly, brought it out to my car, and everything was delicious! Thank you guys! Will order again!
The food is excellent I love their spicy salmon rolls. They're ginger chicken is delicious also. It just takes forever to get the food and to be waited on when you dine in. I think it's a great place for the drive thru and carryout.
Absolutely love Hanami Express. We always have the best service and the sushi is so good. I've never had a bad meal here! I'm so glad we have a sushi place close to home in austintown.
