The service is great here but the food is not my favorite for the price point. Definitely will do for a date night in a pinch but I would rather drive into town for other options. The brunch is better than dinner for sure. My main feedback is that the food is really close to tasting homemade but is missing the details. The biscuits are good but not as flaky as they should be and a little too doughy and big. The sauces are applied just a little too liberally so you can’t enjoy the underlying ingredients to their full potential. The drink was good and I could see this being a good place for a happy hour. Overall, it’s just missing the care in the food that would make me want to return for a higher end meal.

Great service (shout out to Amanda) and good quality scratch made food. The cocktails are interesting and unique. But the whiskey selection puts the drink options over the top. We went for a late lunch so we didn’t partake in the brown book whiskey offerings but we will definitely return on an evening for that.

Beautiful restaurant. Great waiter, Jake. Hostess sat us with water already on the table. Food was good. The cat head biscuits are a must. Not the best fried green tomatoes in town but good. The club had too much bread. The meat was regular deli meat nothing in house made like Bartlett's. Great bar. Drinks looked really good. My chicken fried steak was large and tasty. The chicken almondine was really good. Different from the downtown location this is truly a lovely place.

This was our first time here. Huge portions and Roland, our server, never let our drinks go empty. The biscuits were buttery and the chicken tenders were breaded perfectly. The chicken was moist and the salad was beyond fresh! Finished our meal with a banana pudding—yum!

First time here. Nicely decorated, huge gas fireplace for outside dining. Massive whiskey list see pic, I had the Garrison Brothers. Had the cathead biscuits for a appetizer, pretty good, liked the included preserves too. I had the chicken fried steak, in a word enormous. Good flavor on the breading and the included mashed potatoes were good, could of used the gravy on them as well though. My wife had the St. Louis ribs and they were good flavor but a little fatty. Complimentery popcorn was great as well. Not terribly crowded on a late Sat night. Waitstaff was attentive and quick as well. Definitely worth a try, especially if you like Whiskey.

What a fantastic place! Breakfast: Logan was super friendly and delivered great service. The bacon and ham were served just the way we like them. We asked for extra crispy bacon and got it. The ham was thick and juicy...really the ham was not salty and tough like many other places. I can't rave enough about their cathead biscuits (big as a cat's head). They are baked with the right density, crispiness, and a touch of salt. The peach jalapeno jam was the right blend and consistency. A perfect match. Dinner: I had the appetizer for dinner. Years ago I stopped eating corn dogs because of the unhealthy hot dog inside but now I have discovered their CORN DOG SHRIMP!! Oh so delicious...

Went here for Easter brunch and it was amazing. Our first time here but definitely won't be the last. From the appetizers to the drinks, everything was delicious. The brussel sprouts were phenomenal so I definitely recommend those. Our waitress was also so fun and personable along with the other staff that helped. Can't wait to go back and check out the dinner menu.

Went here yesterday after a couple of people in a bourbon group that had mentioned this place. Their bourbon and whiskey list is extensive with a great selection. I started off with the corn dog battered shrimp, honey biscuits and their old Weller antique 107 non chill filtered select pick. The corn dog shrimp and biscuits were pretty good. I'd recommend those for starters at least the corn dog shrimp if you aren't too hungry. I had a few other BTACs such as rock Hill farms and Weller full proof, but their old Forester single barrel select pick was by far one of the better ones I've had. Cole was very knowledgeable and knew everything they had. Great food great bourbon great place.
