Chief's Bbq - Austin - Photo album

We wanted to eat bbq N came to the right place! We ordered the brisket sandwiches and the meat was so moist and tender cooked perfectly. The food came out fast and hot. I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for good BBQ.
Turkey and brisket was pretty damn good! Smoked turkey, beans and potato salad was good as well! Bbq was not my favorite .... Strong cumin flavor was strong!
Had an awesome brisket sandwhich! The meat + sauce were delicious. The owner was there and was super cool and nice! I def would recommend this place for lunch or catering your next event!
Picked up a pound of Turkey, a few pounds of Ham, and a couple of links of sausage. Turkey was great, moist and flavorful. Ham was also very good but a little salty. Menu said Elgin sausage but I actually found it less greasy than Elgin sausage I've had in the past. Perhaps they smoke it longer, as
Oh, yeah. Ordered some pork ribs with fries, slaw & fried okra as sides. So delicious! The BBQ sauce was a nice touch. Great flavor. Peppery, tangy and perfect for my plate. Gonna eat some Pecan Pie now. Yum!
My boyfriends family and I wanted some barbecue after visiting Austin! We were a total of 6 on a Sunday night, and the staff were super kind and accommodating. I enjoyed a chopped brisket sandwich with jalapeños. While the rest of the family had a burger, ribs, and sides (potato salad hit the spot).
I've been stopping at Chiefs when I pass by for about 10 years. The chopped beef sandwich has always been on point. The staff seems happy over the years and ten to stick around longer than expected. It's always the same experience. I'm driving passed this area of austin and I See chiefs! I stop in,
Very impressed with this “hole in the wall”… very generous on portions, and great prices. The food surprised me more than anything… when I walked in, I knew it was either going to be amazing or awful lol… it was definitely amazing. You’d think there wasn’t anything special about a simple baked pota
First time in Austin and this place was a good find. The only thing was no ribs and the Cole slaw could use a little more seasoned. Keep up the great work.
Me and my grandpa have been coming to Chiefs for years now…at least since 2017 for me. Probably earlier for him. He always gets the chopped brisket sandwhich and I’ll get the sliced Turkey with fried okra and a sweet tea. Same great crunchiness and taste every time, and the sweet tea is my favorite
Had the Homer Sandwich. Chopped beer and V & V sausage then added grilled onions and jalapenos. So good. Had it twice in a week. Its a lot of food and worth the $$. Potatoe salad was a good option. Small place and worth a try.
Not being from Austin we where looking for a spot to eat at and found Chiefs. Will say its a little small but the food was on point. Recommend the "Homer". Will definitely come back by and try something new. Staff was cool too. No complaints.
