Enjoyed this food truck park so much that we came back the next day! Ample parking and lots of picnic tables (hence the name?) under a large awning. It’s open but you also won’t get rained on or have to sit in direct sun. Great variety among the trucks. We especially enjoyed Coat & Thai (try the Yellow Curry and/or the Pad Thai!). Habibi was also delicious. You really can’t go wrong with any of the options. There’s even a truck that sells dog treats so four-legged friends aren’t left out. This place has something for everyone and is a definite standout even in Austin’s crowded food truck park scene.

Wanted to eat at Food Truck Park while visiting Austin as they're known for having great food trucks and it was a nice day to eat outside. I was near the Airport, so The Picnic wasn't far away and the Barton Springs area is nice. I reviewed the food trucks I picked separately, so this is simply over The Picnic.
There was plenty of parking and it was easy to get in and out of the Food Truck Park. There were approximately 20 picnic tables and 8 food trucks. Tables were relatively clean with adequate spacing, trash receptacles that weren't overflowing, and not many flies. There were also water bowls at every table for the pets. There was a good variety of food trucks with different dishes. There were also about 5 trucks in the park, but across the parking lot, but I wasn't sure if they were art vendors or just decoration. Every food truck had a $1 coupon for gelato, but I didn't see that food truck until I was leaving. It's located facing Barton Springs Road right where you turn into the parking lot.
Overall, this is a nice Food Truck Park that's well-maintained with a nice variety of food trucks.

We got food from several carts and they were all lackluster. The falafel burger was by far the best item we had. I also got the falafel plate (picture) which was dry.

Tons of variety and good food. Mediterranean place was my favorite. Lobster rolls were good too. Tacos weren’t that good.

I've tried 3 different food trucks here and am always disappointed. The food is lack luster at best especially with the price. There are way better food trucks, with way better food for the same price everywhere except here. I tried the taco place today and it was disgusting. I got brisket nachos for $12 for a tiny amount of chips and the "brisket" was rubbery and tasted like it came from a can. Super gross. The only reason people come here has to be because of the location or they are from out of town and don't know any better. If you like good food, I'd look elsewhere!

We went to the waffle cone truck and that was def not for us the sauce was very overwhelming and the chicken was just like a thin pork cutlet deep fried. The steak tacos at the have a taco truck was well seasoned and good.
