El Secreto De La Abuela #2 - Austin - Photo album

This little restaurant was far the best homemade mexican food I ever tasted. I gone to many others and this is best authentic food I tasted and enjoyed. We ordered Migas which were so tasty full of flavor. I order the House Chilaquiles, which were so good and crunchy! Taste just like homemade from h
Why was I sleeping on this place? I came here to have lunch while my car is being inspected and was pleasantly surprised. Service was top notch, food was even better (if that’s even possible). I had the #1 lunch special and found it super satisfying and a great bang for your buck. I definitely wi
Stopped by to grab lunch while my car was getting inspected next door. Was pleasantly surprised with a cheap, fast, filling, and delicious lunch special! Had me put the door in 10 and excited to go back and try more on the menu ++ for the flautas!
Small but clean restaurant. Good service! The food was incredible! Like really good! Homemade, fresh, hot, delicious!
The location is quite hidden in plain sight: while it is at a well known intersection, I've never noticed them before. The food tasted very good and they provided a lot of it! The fajitas for two (the one with steak, shrimp and chicken) would have been sufficient for all three of us, and were meat e
I've been eyeballing this place for a while and finally decided to stop in for breakfast this morning. While I was there, a few people came in to pick up to-go food, but I was the only one in the dining room. The server took great care of me and came to check on me several times, refilling my tea an
Fantastico!!! Super authentic Mexican place. Great tacos al pastor and chalupas. Very reasonably priced and super friendly service. I'd highly recommend this spot if you are anywhere near Stassney and Manchaca road.
Tried the Hawaiian Torta and it was really good. The bread was fluffy and the ingredients flavorful. Quick and friendly service. Have had good experiences in the past here as well.
Their migas a la mexicana are freaking delicious! I recommend them.
Went here for the breakfast tacos. Large portions, good prices. Genuine taqueria atmosphere. I look forward to going again.
Feels homey. Machacado was really good. The beefiness of the barbacoa really shined! Good salsa
Really good food!! And the service was very nice too. If this was near to our house we would be here every day jaja
Best breakfast tacos!! Love their green salsa, too. We always enjoy stopping in or picking up to-go!
The breakfast tacos are cheap and very tasty.
A hidden gem. The food was delicious and the service was GREAT! Gracias!
El Secreto de Abuela was a much needed installation, for the Manchaca/Stassney area. I have enjoyed every dish they have served me. There is so much attention to detail within every recipe and you will taste the quality after your first bite. I appreciate what the cooks and staff are doing (daily)
Delicious and authentic homemade Mexican food and homemade tortillas as well!
