Madras Dhaba - Austin - Photo album

The best thing about Austin is the abundance of food trucks; they usually cater audience with fantastic food sans the decor that is usually associated with a sit down restaurant. The prices, for the most part, are relatively cheap and the quantity is plentiful. Madras Dhaba delivers on all these asp
Got the paneer tikka tacos and they were incredible!!
HUGE portions. I made 3 meals out of the chicken biryani, no joke. One of if not the best Indian food in Austin. I wish this wasn’t so far from my place but I’ll start making trips out for this now. Also the samosas are the best I’ve ever had. Just amazing...
SO GOOD YALL! I’ve been to India and this biriyani took me back there on my first bite. Guys were so nice, food was fast, and the portions are huge! They have a nice little patio in the back too where you could sit and chill and bring doggies! It’s a bright yellow little truck next to the highway ha
The Indian tacos are especially delicious and have great texture and heat. Very friendly service and a great spot to just chill with friends and enjoy a different presentation of Indian street food.
I ordered this from Uber Eats on a Saturday night. This place has the best biryani I have ever tasted. I prefer the ones I make at home, but this veg biryani beat mine out. I'm not sure what is the gravy they gave to accompany my biryani and paratha but it was so pure gold. I have a new favorite. T
I'm a regular at Madrasdhaba, the Indian food truck downtown, visiting around twice a week. The owner (still don't know his name!) is always super friendly, and we have some cool chats when I bike over. Now, let's get to the food – it's a flavor explosion every single time. Seriously, it feels like
I was not expecting this food to be this good from a food truck. Shows how much I know about Austin. I stopped by this spot before heading back to El Paso with a group of friends. I ordered the somosa's, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. The somosa's were the regular potato filled kind and was
Tried the Channa Masala Tacos and it blew my mind how good it was. The flavor, spice level, and paratha was a great combination together.
Good indian food on a food truck, I only tried the chicken tikka masala. It was good and is located on the food truck park on 6th street next to royal Indian fusion truck with some others. Do try it.
Food is good and spicy not bland. The best thing I liked is that they were willing to switch rice with roti for the entrees. Price was comparable to a restaurant. For a food truck I would want to pay less as I am not paying for the AC and the building. But I am ok paying if the quality & quantity ar
Very friendly staff but more importantly very tasty food. The biryani is a must have and the whole experience is close to a Indian street food experience and makes you want to revisit.
Go get your south Indian food fix here. The guys will teach you some Tamil cuss words while you wait. Worth the wait for great food.
All I got was samosas and a mango lhassi, but they were really good and the staff was ultra friendly.
Best Indian food in Austin. Anyone giving one star reviews doesn’t have a clue. Owner is super nice, food is perfect every time. Price is fair and value is there… food is filled to the top of the tub, large portion of rice. Unlike all the other so called Indian restaurants around town who charge $18
Hot onion pakodas and Poori were awesome. The owner Shiva was really good in taking care of his customers. Economical food price as well. Nice setup for a good truck and hot food!
