Review Capital One Cafe - Austin

Bradley Goode
Banking and coffee staff are very professional and friendly. Bank staff was ready to help and greeted me when walking in. :) The coffee staff was quick and attentive. Got the Capital One exclusive Honey Lavender Latte. Which is on par with other Capital One Cafe locations. I don't drink that much coffee and the brew here taste great so i don't understand everyone else's review saying the coffee isn't that good. Must be snobby critics. Parking is the only inconvenience your best bet may be the ally way. If you already in town to where you don't drive this bank is perfect.

This place had a great cup of coffee and a very friendly staff. The capital one team that is a part of the cafe was delightful. They gave me a coupon for a complimentary cup of coffee so I returned a second time on my trip. Coffee was excellent and the place was very quiet with gentle music in the background. They had games from Chess, battleship, and Uno. I will make this my regular stop when in Austin.

I just had an incredible experience at the Capital One Cafe. Jeremy helped me navigate a tricky ATM situation and was so pleasant and helpful, making sure I was taken care of with coffee while I waited. This place and the people in it are great!

I stopped by this Cafe with my girlfriend to deposit some cash and the staff was nice and helpful. Marty was awesome. He gave me good information about Capitol One branches around me that were closing down. He was quite the character. The cafe was clean and cozy. It seems to have good drinks and snacks (half off if purchased with a Capitol One card), and free Wi-Fi. I recommend this cafe to everyone looking to rest from walking around Congress or getting some work done in peace.

This is not so much a place for food. This is the Littlefield building which houses investment firms, start up tech capital company bases of operation, and more on the upper floors. The Capital one point itself is a corner with tables, wifi, outlets, and a calm environment people walk in to work from and relax. They are more focused on atm hi tech interactions if your going there in regards to your capital one bank account be prepared to have your debit / credit card as they do not have the ability to make one there for you if you forget and are limited without that on what they can do for you, including cash check deposits and paying your credit card. Restrooms are well maintained and kept clean as they try to balance the occasional visit from the homeless which are around every corner of this area panhandling at all hours of the morning, day, and night. High traffic and all kinds of crazy things and people will you see if you stick around long enough. The coffee options are more a partner business operating independent inside that rewards you for using capital one but are not affiliated really with capital one and will gladly serve you a $5+ coffee to your pallet. Pete's coffee brand is their main product and some snack, which ironically is across from Starbucks. You want food walk across to either velvet tacos, Cava Mediterranean, or P'Terry's but keep in mind this place has the better more secure public wifi of the block! (Still use a VPN with caution when on any public wifi period!)(public wifi is not contingent on a purchase or being with capital one and depending on the time of day you may even get free sunglasses, swag, coffee samples, and a smile just for visiting. :) Been supporting occasional IT clients in this area for over ten years so very familiar with all the businesses up and down Congress fyi! Parking forget about it! (Best to figure out a ride to this area or a day pass deal under $20 at a garage and walk to this area, what few public paid parking meter spots remain within walking distance I would not trust in this area fyi I warned you.) A word of advice: What with strict towing , parking tickets, theft, people on foot walking I. Front of vehicles not in their right mind, and all the scooters and bicycle folk that will pop out of nowhere be careful getting in and out of this busy high traffic area central hub!

Very nice clean place with lots of outlets. Interesting combination of a bank and coffee shop. I just had a brownie so I cannot comment on their coffee.

I go here to use the ATM and every time I go in I'm greeted by a warm and friendly employee. They make me feel welcome which I appreciate. The ATM area is clean and the machines are always in working order. If I was wanting a coffee or to sit and work for a while I'd feel confident about going here.

Great place to work, very kind staff. They’re very happy to let you hang out and work here. If you have a capital one card tea & coffee are half price as well! Overall if you a place to sit at a laptop you can hardly do better than this

Cafe is clean and quiet. Full coffee service and free wifi and a cafe environment to work and relax. Bank of course on site and lots of staff to help you with anything you need. Please like this review and follow me if you find helpful.

The cafe is fine but this review is in regards to the banks ATM lobby. Tonight I went in to deposit funds and found someone sleeping there. This lobby requires an active debit card to enter and here is someone sleeping in it. Either they are a customer or a customer let them in. This is a real lack of security in my mind and needs to be resolved.

Great place for half price quality coffee for capital one cardholders.

Think of when they ask you during interviews: "Describe a time when you went above and beyond for a customer." Jason, if you are ever asked that question feel free to reference the wonderful experience that you offered me! It was nice to chat with you and all of the welcoming staff, and the nook space and drink options were fantastic (the perfect chill co-working vibe). Thank you!

I love Capital One Cafe. It’s a clean and convenient stop when you’re walking down 6th street, that offers delicious treats and well-made drinks; and not only is the cafe spacious, but the staff here are also phenomenal! They make sure to go an extra mile for their customers, and I can confidently say that I have been treated with nothing but kindness every time I’m there. (The employees opening the doors for customers walking in/out is also a nice touch.) Especially memorable to me was Marty, who was incredibly kind and accommodating to a friend and I while stopping in. Thank you very much, and we will definitely continue to stop by in the future!

I was downtown and needed a place to work remotely for a bit. I came in and was promptly greeted by the capital one staff and I told them that I was here to work. I ordered a cold brew coffee from Peet's and went about completing my tasks. I've had an account with capital one for a while now but always forget to ask what type of new things they offer. Manny Canales helped me with my questions I had and we bonded over motorsports. From our conversation I'll probably upgrade my current credit card. Anyways... interesting concept the capital one cafe is, friendly and helpful staff, good coffee.
