Cruzteca Mexican Kitchen - Austin - Photo album

First entering, you get a smell of the Indian food next door-- it's definitely off putting. If we speak of dessert trust, the empanadas with pears soaked in sangria are amazing. I also freaking enjoyed the top shelf Mexican martini. The salsa had way too much garlic in it but was fresh. The flautas
This place was terrific! The food was so fresh and flavorful, especially the homemade salsa which I could’ve drank straight. The portions were generous and the service was also top notch. I’m excited to have a new go-to breakfast spot.
This place is awesome! Generous portions, tasty and reasonably priced. The salsas could be better tasting but I’m not tripping because they were ok and everything else was on point.
Had the pleasure of Meeting Tony on Sunday and experiencing his family's wonderful restaurant. Fantastic brunch drink pricing, and some of the best Tex-Mex food in Austin. Service was fast and friendly, even for our party of 8 adults and 2 children... Excited to come back!
Happy hour $3 crispy tacos were very good. The guacamole was delicious.
EASILY one of the top 5 best enchiladas in the city!! The enchiladas verde has a really fresh tomatillo/roasted pepper taste, and the Nutella mole feels like a hug on a plate! Great friendly staff, and welcoming restaurant
We had a quick work trip in Austin and were not disappointed by the food we got here! I got the verde enchiladas it was a good mix of savory tangy. I also got a frozen margarita and it was very balanced! The customer service was great. Everyone was very attentive, from the manager Wayne, to our wait
Service was great. I loved their ceviche. Queso was too thick and not hot enough but I liked their salsa and margarita a lot. Super cute. Will definitely be back.
Always love going to this locally owned place. The staff have great recommendations so ask them what they like. The atmosphere is casual and inviting. Always busy, so give yourself a bit of time to sit and chat or grab a drink at the bar if that's your thing. I really enjoy the shrimp and grits, and
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. My wife and I ordered 2 different flavor tacos and split them. So good. Our waitress was very friendly and went above and beyond for our children. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely come back
I'm reluctant to write this review because one of the wonderful things is that we've never waited more than a few minutes to be seated. But to the true highlights: The food is fantastic. Everything we order has been great. One of the surprises is the brunch buttermilk pancakes. The strawberry butter
My husband and I came at this restaurant to try today! The hostess was so nice and are waitress was so sweet. Kept coming back to ask how the food is and if we needed anything else. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back!
Okay.... so this place is pretty damn good. Great drinks, tex mex for options, and great staff. Inside and outside areas, full bar, and they have a small waiting area when they are packed. Look.... they are almost there in flavor so be those people who ask for salt and THE DAMN VERDE SALSA. Th
Let me tell you about the catering. 10/10, I would hire Jessica and the team to cater any event forever. They are professional, friendly, and the food is incredible. They catered my wedding, and I got so many compliments about the food, the quality, the attention to detail, amount of options for all
Came for a late breakfast on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. The food was great and the salsa is the best I’ve had at a restaurant. I had the huevos con machaca which were awesome. Definitely going to be back soon.
We had Cruzteca cater our wedding with their food truck and everything was fantastic! The food was delicious and and Jessica was easy to coordinate and communicate with. We love their tacos and will definitely be frequent customers from now on!
This is a great choice for amazing Mexican food with that Austin flair. I would compare this place to Eldorado or Vamanos. We had great loaded queso, super good Verde Chicken Enchiladas, and I ordered two hibiscus margaritas (super unique and yummy). The service was what stood out the most though- w
Fantastic! Apps, entrée, and dessert were all delicious. The employees were friendly and attentive. See u soon Cruzteca.
The food is very flavorful when I say flavorful I mean like a bit on the salty 🧂 side. I don't use salt so when I eat out I can really taste the salt in food when it's over powering. Aside from the salt the food is rather tasty. I did taste the smoke flavor in the beans. I could taste the cilantr
