Mission Dogs - Austin - Photo album

A great place to do a take out after a few beers or a drink, bacon covered hot dogs with different options of topping. The online menu has more options compared to the restaurant itself, small space outside to sit and dine, but take out is the best option. Great value for money, great taste. Would d
Don’t let your hunger fool you, portions are big! We tried the viet dog (vegetarian) the mac n cheese and the garlic fries. My husband had the Kimchi dog and it looked amazing (he said it was) they have mostly to go but there is a small table to eat outside. They have Mexican drinks and parking is s

Great dogs, best fries in town! Fries have the right crisp and hold very well! Hot dogs are made to order so expect to wait but we'll worth it!
Located in the heart of the East side off Cesars Chavez and just a smidge away from downtown Austin. Mission Hot Dogs delivers BIG on flavor and BIG on BACON! If theres a bacon shortage in your area they may be to blame. A local night spot for all the drunkers to stop by and endulge on their child h
Absolutely the best gourmet hotdogs in Austin! I was totally blown away by the food here, the hotdogs and garlic fries were both fantastic. The staff are all lovely people as well. I'll definitely be coming back to try the rest of the hotdogs as soon as I can. They even have some delicious vegan opt
I tried the Vietdog. The bacon was tightly wrapped around the dog and crispy, which i liked; I was worried bacon would be loose and chewy. The veggie cuts in there r sliced long (like veggie spaghetti) which made it easier for staying in the bun while eating. Bun was warm and toasty. U can tell thes
Impressed a Canadian with their poutine! I got my dog without bacon and still very much enjoyed it! Happy to see them sticking to their covid safety precautions for their employees!
ordered 2 of the mission (left) and of the vietdog (right) - both vegan! they were so yummy and seriously hit the spot! we totally should’ve (and will next time) add vegan chili + cheese to the mission. the vietdog was pretty spicy, but i love heat so i was super happy/pleased w that! i will say my
Was running around town with my food partners in crime and Mission Dogs was suggested. Excellent choice. Best hot I've had in Austin. I ordered the Jeepney, bacon-wrapped hotdog with Archara (sweet & sour green papaya slaw) and spicy plantain ketchup. Chains are ok but I prefer to patronize small lo
My brother and I wanted a late night snack! -Teehee Delicious! Friendly staff! Helpful, walked my order to the car! For sure going back to try other dogs! P/s the bacon wrapped dog taste great! Not overly greasy, juicy dog! Def recomen!
Absolutely LOVE this place. My boyfriend and I were in Austin for three nights and got a dog every night because they were just so great (as a vegetarian who loves Vietnamese food, the Vietdog was perfect). Really good portion sizes (you're full but not stuffed) and very reasonably priced consideri
Heard about this place on Instagram and came to check it out. Worth the hype! The dining area is small but relaxing and laid back. We tried the Vietdog, Just the Dog, and the mission Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious, the Mac was so creamy and the dogs were a perfect balance of flavor. I wish
Great little eclectic hotdog place. Awesome couple working behind the counter. Great mix of flavors and Bacon Wrapped Hotdogs!
Vegetarian Italian sausage and veggie bacon Kim dog. Too legit. Side bar- I didn’t care about the shrimp paste in the kimchi
How refreshing it was to enjoy not just any old dog but a well made, quality, tasty Mission Dog. I scarfed down the signature Mission Dog made with Hebrew National beef wrapped with crispy bacon and was not disappointed. I will return for another visit to try any number of different style hot dogs
People wouldn’t think it but this place has amazing vegan options! Yeah, the bacon wrapped hotdog place, even vegan chili! Low key, friendly environment. One of those authentic Austin spots.
If you’re a hotdog fan, Missions Dogs should be on your list. The menu has an eclectic selection of dogs, from the Jeepney to the Kim Dog. I opted for the Mac Dog with a veggie frank and an order of poutine. The dog was awesome while the poutine left more to be wanted. I will be back to try some of
Great service, good vibe, unique/yummy hotdogs & drinks. Went in the evening loved the cute little patio.
