Johnny Carino's

I recently dined at Johnny Carino's twice and had a positive experience. Two weeks ago, I ordered three "Spaghetti with Artichokes" entrees with added chicken but received only one with chicken. Upon contacting Johnny Carino's, I spoke to Jeronimo Arellano, the General Manager. Jeronimo exceeded expectations by replacing the entire order, rather than offering a simple refund for the missing chicken. His professionalism, sincerity, and generosity were evident. Tonight, I picked up the corrected order, which included salads and bread. Thank you, Jeronimo, for such a pleasant experience!

**** Update*** I changed the rating from 1 to 5 stars because of Geronimo, the restaurant GM. He reached out to me this morning and addressed the situation. He was very apologetic and assured me that this is not the way they do business. He also invited us back and said that he would ensure we had a great experience, which I thought was really nice. I really appreciate how quickly he reached out and acknowledged my frustration and addressed the situation.***** Their manager Tara is the rudest most incompetent person to ever work there. Every single encounter with her has been absolutely horrible. I will definitely be calling their corporate office and telling everyone I know to stop going to this location. She will continue to cost this place its customers, nobody wants to spend money with people like this.

The food was good, but I wasn't wowed. I had the chicken penne gorgonzola. That is always my go-to order. The prices I feel are a bit high for the quality of the food. I admit, I don't eat here often. The last time I ate here before this was about 5+ years ago and it was another location. I was very pleased with the service. Our waiter was great and very friendly. It is an alright spot for Italian food though, but just average.

I love the bread, garlic, and oil you get while deciding on what you want to eat. It's my favorite. There used to be a Carinos in Round Rock where I would go often, but it closed down. This one off of Palmer is the closest one to where I live. Glad it's still open. The food was really good. We had a nice dinner. The cocktail I ordered wasn't the best but I drank it anyways. It was the Bellini. I've had it before but this time it wasn't food. Maybe the bartender didn't know how to make them. But oh well. I didn't go for the drinks. 🙃 I went for the bread, garlic and oil. And some Italian food too.

Absolutely Amazing service! One of the Top best services we have received by the Waiter, Rodger. who had such fantastic Food service. He was very Polite, With such a smiling Happy vibe that really made everyone else in a good mood, in addition he also took his time to explain all the menu options for those who are new to Italian cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together eating at this restaurant. The food was hot and tasted delicious. The pasta was enjoyably spicy and had a good kick with flavor. The dinner portions are fairly big for a person who may be use to eating small or normal portion size. So if you order dinner make sure you are extra hungry. The special teas are refreshing. The lasagna was enjoyable and good. The Restaurant was very clean and sanitized. Wheel chair accessible parking. This restaurant has a bar area and offers alcoholic beverages that I will try next time. Early hours are not as packed. Will be coming back for a second time for sure.

I ordered the Rosemary chicken. It was very good, price was good, and friendly staff. The restaurant is outdated but overall a good experience. After my first good experience, I booked the space for a baby shower. Everything was great, guest had a good time. Jerónimo, the manager, was great about answering my questions and always replied to my emails. He was very accommodating and professional.
