Baton Creole - Austin - Photo album

I hadn't been to Austin in such a long time and I scoured Google trying to remember who sold "Jambalaya on a Stick" that I used to come from San Antonio to eat 4 or 5 years ago. Sad to see the "temporarily closed" alert after finally remembering the name of your truck. It's hard to find food I consi
The BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had. Ingredients are fresh and food is made when ordered. The jambalaya on a stick is unique and full of flavor. Sausage is really good and the breading was crisp and prepared well. Every now and then we contemplate driving over an hour just for the food here be
Baton Creole’s food was on point, and the service and energy that Adam brought to the table made this place a home run. The gumbo was absolutely delicious. The dark roux was fantastic, and the cajun boil potato salad was just magic. Per Adam’s recommendation, I finished my meal off with some bite-s
Baton Creole makes the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Made from thighs because they understand this is the superior tasting piece of fried chicken. The breading is thick and crunchy but somehow light. Pimento spread so thick that it sticks around. Greens to to balance out the decadence. All

We then entered Shangrila, and noticed there were Bat

Laid back food truck behind Shangri-La. Friendly and quick around midnight on a Friday. The gumbo and etouffe were quite flavorful and rich, you could tell that roux dark as night. I've never been a huge fan of green bean casseroles but adding blackened chicken made it quite tasty!
Favorite Cajun food truck! Service is always great and food is fresh. Not to mention it's inside my favorite bar. Ive tried almost everything on the menu, absolutely delicious and very authentic. The patio area is very nice in cool weather, because the hot food will warm you up. Great place to get f
