Dee Dee - Northern Thai Street Food - Austin - Photo album

Dee-Dee is a great place for Thai street food in Austin. They use fresh ingredients straight from the farm, which makes their food even more delicious. We tried their Pad Kapow and loved it. The rice was full of flavors, and the spicy stir-fried pork went perfectly with it, along with the fried basi
Wow! I heard this place from YouTube and they are definitely worth the hype. Every dish looked so simple, yet so good. This is really some authentic Thai food you won’t be able to find elsewhere. You can taste the love and passion they put in everything! The wait can get a little long, so I recomme
Had the pad kra pow (pictured) twice while in Austin along with the laab & mango sticky rice! Super flavorful and spicy. It was oily but I worked around it cause it’s so flavorful. Had to take it to go cause we got eaten alive by bugs in the outdoor area. Someone suggested maybe wait to put the fish
Heard about this place from Eater. I had the Om Gai. It was, in fact, fantastic. There was this really interesting flavor that I couldn't place, and the smell was fascinating. I'd love to go back and ask them what ingredients they use so I can identify that flavor. I might get the Om Gai less spicy
Great food, really tasty. Fantastic mango sticky rice. And it's such a cute area, so nice to eat in.
I came here just to try the sticky rice, and it was probably one of the best mango sticky rice I've had. It has the perfect balance of flavors and it wasn't too sweet. I also got the Pad KaPow. It was so yummy, and I especially liked the fried basil. However, I was a little bit disappointed in the p
Great food truck and area to eat with a bar you can bring drinks outside from. The Thai food here is the real deal made with care. Very tasty, better than I’ve had anywhere else in Texas.
Looove the mango sticky rice and the ka pow! Also got the Om Gai during the cold days. Recently tried their new special Gai Palo and it hit the spot. It so much comfort food and it’s a mix of the chinese five spice dish and viet version of this. I like this a lot better cause the sauce for the rice
Straight GAAAAASSSSSS!! Tofu stir fry was cooked to perfection ate it before I could snap it. Rice must’ve been steamed with wisdom and love. Mango sticky is a must. Don’t hesitate. This is your dank vegan option you’ll remember forever. Whole place is a vibe bonus. The boys will be back 🙏🏼⚡️❤️‍🔥
Very authentic Thai cuisine. I loved the rice and mango for dessert which was sweet but not overly so. Mangoes were fresh, ripe and tender. They give you just enough to feel greedy eating it alone but not enough to really want to share. The other big winner was the larb. We were warned about the le
Groovy set up. Trailers with food choices on the same property as a great bar with live music. It feels as if you’re out in the country side, yet right in town. The lucky neighborhood gets the food, coffee and cocktails just outside their doorstep without car’s parking in the street as they have ple
Confirmed the authentic taste, this food are amazing and so favored. This time we need to order online and then pick them up, they kept the food in the fridge and keep it warm for us even we pick up late, the food still great! Definitely recommend this place for real Northeastern Thai food! And I do
Online pre-order is straightforward and hassle-free. You even get a text message to notify you your order is ready for pickup. Every dish that I have tried is delicious and full of flavor. I really appreciate their paying attention to every detail and making sure every dish is as spicy as it should
Absolutely delicious, amazing, lovingly well-prepared delights that will tickle your taste buds and make you shed a tear! A bit spicy, so level down if you are sensitive. I could eat here every day of my life. The food is insanely tasty.
This place is so dang good it ruined normal Thai food for me. I moved away from Austin for 3 years, and twice a week I would think about their food. This place deserves a medal of honor. I want this place to officiate my wedding, it’s just so dang good.
A Food truck which is definitely worth 2.5 hour road trip from Arlington to Austin. They aren't open for a straight 11-9 like most restaurants, they close between 3-6p to prep for dinner. I would suggest preordering especially their slow roasted chicken that's marinaded for 48 hours, it was sold ou
Extremely tasty authentic Thai food. Husband and Wife owners clearly work hard and have a lot of passion for their work. Definitely worth a try!
This is my favorite food truck in Austin so far. The pad kra pow and mango rice made my day. They have a nice sitting place over there. This is one of the must try food trucks in Austin downtown area.
Hip food truck joint with a chill picnic table area. The authentic flavors made me seriously miss Bangkok. The Pad Kaprow and Thai Iced Green Tea go perfectly together--especially since the dish packs a major spicy kick.
