Best place in town for gluten free food! Here I had my first chicken fried steak, which was absolutely delicious. Brisket Tacos are amazing too! Everything is gluten free and the waiters are super friendly. If you are looking for a place with gluten free food (suitable for celiacs) you should definitely go there.
*cinnamon rolls was delicious 😋

My wife and I frequently visit this establishment due to her having celiac. Burgers are great and served on a very tasty homemade bun. The fried chicken is delicious. I try to order something different each time I go and haven’t been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. Service is a bit slow due to only 2-3 employees on duty most of the time. Parking can be tricky. I recommend pulling in from the road behind the building. Outside seating can be loud depending on traffic flow. Restrooms are dark and usually need attention. Plenty of treats in the dessert case to choose from! An employee was sitting behind the building smoking about 15 feet from where we were sitting. Luckily, he went back inside before our food arrived.
Small customer service fee added to ticket.

Went on a Sunday about 130, took about 10 minutes to be seated with three open tables nearby and then close to an hour for the food to arrive. Looked like they were slightly understaffed but all the people working were working hard. Could def be a 3 star rating to wait an hour for your order, but the staff was very friendly and courteous while trying to catch up. Food was good but nothing extraordinary. The novelty of having gluten free "fried chicken" has worn a little thin. Gf fried calamari was a little tough but ok.
Would still highly recommend to anyone who is gluten free and I'll likely visit a third time to try other menu items.... Just beware they have regular non GF beers in the bar.

This restaurant is incredible! I have celiac disease and it’s very rare for me to find a restaurant that I can trust and also one that serves delicious and clean food. The menu has so many great options and everything I have tasted has been amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the outside seating was lovely. I recommend this place to anyone!

Great little 100% gluten free place! As someone not gluten free, I was very impressed with all their dishes - you could hardly tell there was no gluten. However, I’m knocking down a star because I did feel like their food was a bit bland when it didn’t need to be. They had great parking and a good staff and a great vibe, I would come back again!

As a gluten free family from a small town, it was a special treat for us to feel comfortable eating any item on the menu. The onion rings were the best I’ve ever had! Everything we tried was delicious, and we will absolutely be back next time we are in Austin. Our server was amazing and super helpful also. This place is awesome whether you are gluten free or not!

Great food! I had the chicken strips, brisket tacos, onion rings and deep fried mushrooms. All were excellent!
I hadn't eaten deep fried mushrooms in probably 8 years (other than ones I make myself) so it was a huge treat! I can't wait to return!

It was surprisingly empty for a Friday night; the silver lining was lots of available parking spots. Service was a little slow but not bad. Food tasted good and had great value. Will be back.

Amazing food and terrific service! Super impressed with the huge array of menu options. The menu was all gluten-free and full of flavor. I LOVED the fried mushrooms and still dream about recreating them.
Vibes and artwork all around were superb and I had a blast

💯 Gluten free in a dedicated Gluten free kitchen y'all. But you wouldn't know it eating their food! We've had this spot ear marked for a while and boy was it totally worth the visit. We had the Waller burger, Camaron taco, Queso & chips, wings and a couple of margaritas. Everything was delicious and eating in a gluten free environment was the ultimate luxury for us.
Bonus points for a cute, shaded patio and being so close to all of the east side hip bars ✨ perfect for a quick bite before a night out bar hopping nearby. We're definitely going back to try more of their delicious menu 🤤

First time dining at Wilder Wood, and I will definitely be back every time I'm in the ATX area. The fact that the entire restaurant is gluten-free is amazing enough in and of itself, but the food is absolutely delicious! I had fried mushrooms and chicken fried steak for the first time in years (okay, I overindulged a bit but who can blame me??). Highly recommend!

As someone with celiac, I appreciate the peace of mind knowing this restaurant is 100% gluten free. The food was good, and they have a few dessert options to go. The bartender/host was also very friendly.
One heads up - bring cash or card. Apple Pay doesn’t work here.

This was my first time dining from Wilder Wood! I got the party bowl with chicken and guacamole! Great flavors, generous helping and priced fairly. I picked up my order at 545 on a Saturday and was surprised that it wasn't busy.
I have Celiac disease and really enjoyed this safe, gluten free take out option!

Wilder wood is the best gluten free restaurant in Austin. I'm not gluten free but my wife is and we love this place. I've tried almost everything on the menu and never been disappointed. The waffle for Sunday brunch is particularly tasty.
Lots of gluten free desserts too!
