Story Of Texas Cafe - Austin - Photo album

Located on the second floor of the Texas history museum. Good, simple Cafe type food for a reasonable price. My loaded baked potato was $5.00, fresh and delicious. Although, there are bad reviews from several years ago, the place appears to have been recently redone and must be under new managemen
Surprisingly decent burritos made freshly to order. Pleasant balcony where you can eat.
This cafe is operated by Delicious and still get a discount if you are a member of Bullock Texas State History Museum. It has been remodeled and with a new menu. I got a grilled cheese with fries. There is a lot of seating inside and on the balcony.
Had the roast beef panini. It was tasty and large enough for two servings. Lunch & dinner
So glad the RK group is running the cafe again! Had the enchilada special today and it was great, and a bargain at $8. Even the refried beans were delicious. Menu is limited but over time they will be expanding the choices.
Great place to rest your dogs from all of the exhibit walking you can do at th Bob Bullock and grab a bite to eat or drink before catching some more of the museum.
Simple menu that is well executed
Friendly staff. Good food. Nice place to recharge after walking around the museum.
Clean, light, comfortable spot with a notch above what you'd expect for a museum restaurant.
The seating is really nice and food was good. Service was kind of slow.
Super smoked chicken salad, and a pretty good Texas hamburger.
Great, fresh food at a reasonable price
Awesome tacos, like an omelette in a tortilla!
The breakfast burritos are excellent.
Good burger.
