Flying Carpet - Austin - Photo album

Wow! This is a hidden gem in Austin. Both owners are incredibly kind and clearly very passionate about serving delicious food and getting to know their customers. We had a wonderful chat with them about Morocco and loved the chill Moroccan vibe of the restaurant. Both of our dishes were incredibly t
Great casual spot to eat. If it’s cold out you order by the food truck/trailer and then go sit inside. The owners will bring your food to you when it’s ready. Nice simple spot with great food and really nice owners.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The food exceeded all of our expectations and we love Moroccan food, so we're pretty well verse in the flavors. Everything was fantastic, but what really made it great was the service. They were SUPER friendly and so willing to explain everything to us. I love that this p

The dining area was very nice inside, lots of sitting areas to hang out after your meal. Very nice atmosphere. The lady we ordered our food from was very pleasant and helpful with the menu items. No refills on drinks, if that matters to you. The food was amazing!
This is one of my favorite places to eat with my husband in Austin (and given Austin's food scene, that is saying something). We always like to get the wraps--the big abdu and the djaj a la Maria are our favorites thus far. Their wraps are absolutely fantastic and full of big delicious flavors and s
Family! Great food is not all that you get here. You become part of Abdu and Maria's family. Enjoy as they come to each table and talk to everyone - not as customers, but as welcomed additions to their household. Want to pose for a family selfie? No problem! The indoor seating instantly transports y
