Stopped by here on my own without the wife as she's tired of my search for great pizza. I really enjoyed the Hercules pizza I ordered--the crust really stood out as it's thin but chewy and not some wafer. There are some cute tables out front if you want to brave the heat--and they are shaded. Inside there were 5 seats and I elected for one of those in the A/C. They make your pizza right there in front of you...it's pretty transparent--even the oven is right there. You can even grab a beer or soda if you prefer. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and were genuinely interested in seeing me enjoy my meal. Everything feels clean, too. I can safely give 5 stars to a place that won't break the bank and fills a small niche for what is the best of thin crust pizza in Austin.

Popped in while walking past. Quick and friendly service-dude was great. Ate at the outside tables. The By The Slice didn't look the best, but our fresh pizza was amazing. Crust was perfectly crispy. Had it well done. Highly recommend.

First time customer and definitely won't be the last time. Ordered a 10" Hercules with added basil thinking I'd leave a couple of slices for later.
Had to finish it.
The crust was perfect, sauce was delicious, and the right amount of toppings.
By far the best pizza I've had in a long time.
My next time in town will certainly include a Spartan pizza!

The pizza was good, but the RANCH! OMG best ranch I’ve ever tasted in my life. I’m not sure what they put in it, but the flavor perfectly compliments the pizza.

Fantastic place for vegetarian pizza options! Got the Apollo pizza and it was delicious! Served up pretty fast (15 min wait from dough to finish).

It’s good pizza. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it, but it’s certainly good. The selection of nearby food truck pizzas may be more worth it. Though this place is better suited if you’re looking to pickup a takeout order than any food truck. Has indoor and outdoor seating and open late.

Was in and out for lunch in less than 30 minutes. Got to watch some cuties play in flour and spin some dough, and listen to S Club 7, Britney, and N*Sync while smashing a Caeser salad and a slice of spicy pineapple pizza. It's been a good day.

Delicious 🤤 Pizza. Had Spartan and Athena Pizza (vegetarian). both Pizzas So Tasty 😋. I love Pizza and I found this Place and I liked it So much. And Yes Garlic Sticks also So Yummy. And They have different size in all varieties. You can also build your own Pizza.

They literally ask you to pick 32 toppings and I picked as many as I could while I was drunk. They made the best pizza I could’ve ever imagined while I had the munchies. God bless you!

Have ordered here from ubereats a few times. Not the fastest around (that happens when you actually have to *make* the food) but it’s good and imo worth the wait. A solid choice for a NY style slice. Good salads too!

While visiting my daughter in Austin last week, she asked if I wanted to get pizza for lunch. I figure on 6th street in Austin it would be decent but I had no idea that this would be an Epic experience at Spartan Pizza.
We got there for an early lunch. The inside seating space is small in this modern and clean pizzeria with an open kitchen right in front of you. Jazzy and I decided to get two 10” pizzas that we could split. I choose the Perseus which comes with cilantro pesto, sundried tomato, red onion, artichoke and feta cheese. She chose the Pandora with roasted garlic oil, carmelized onion, Italian sausage, aged parm and fresh basil. Not your usual pizza ingredients! All the toppings were super fresh and the pizzas were beyond amazing. To top it off, or I should say bottom it off, the pizza crusts were crispy and so very tasty. This was a terrific lunch and I rate Spartan Pizza at the very top of all pizza’s I have ever had! The folks making the pizzas were also our servers. I highly recommend this spot but I guess those hanging out on 6th street already know how superb this place is!

Found this super pizza joint last year when I was over at SXSW. Soon after we landed this year it was the first place we headed. Large size pizza is huge for one person, but do-able. Order almost anything you want, it's no trouble. Pizza dough nice, topping fresh. And nothing beats a pizza right from the oven. They were playing The Smiths when we were last there. Quality Pizza and Music. You cannot go wrong.!

Huge props to the Spartan peeps for providing amazing and prompt service on an order for 60 pizzas during a Start-up Week event at Galvanize Austin. We fed roughly 700 people throughout the night and deliveries were HOT, actually hot, fresh pizza! Couldn't have been happier with the results. Great job guys - thank you from all of us at Galvanize!

We are visiting from AR and are looking for the best eats while in town. We called them to deliver to our hotel. The service is quick, effective and the pizza, salads, and dipping sauces are all top quality. I am forever ruined when I travel back home. You can taste the LOVE in each and every bite!

We've had Spartan pizza delivered several times. My hubby doesn't usually like pizza, but he loves Spartan Pizza. We've had the Hades, Apollo, Zeus and custom pies. The Zeus is my favorite. Delicious!
