Review Jason's Deli - Austin

We always look forward to Jason's Deli for many reasons. They offer a wide variety of soups, sandwiches, and more, but the salad bar is my favorite reason to go! I love that they provide a large assortment of goodies for salads, but also have delicious little muffins, crackers, dessert stuff, and more! Organic options, vegetarian options, fresh and constantly rotating salad options, what more do you need?!? Oh yeah, and quick friendly service! They have it all 😉

Service was fantastic at my visit on 1/15. Food came out perfect and even had my to go order for my husband ready when I was done eating with friends. Will be back soon!

Always clean, polite staff, and food is consistently good for a reasonable price. Artisan sandwiches for people on a budget! If you like Panera then you'll probably like this place better.

It was my first time at breakfast at this location. Food was better then the alternative McDonald's in the shopping center. But I was the only customer in the restaunt the whole time, and it felt like the employees had seen a ghost and acted like I shouldn't be there. Everyone was very friendly, just confused why I seemed to be there. The cashier had receipts all over the counter, and sounded like she was on a personal call and I had to wait for her to finish her call before I was aknowleged and then had to ask for a breakfast menu and wait while she dug through a mess of other papers also at the register for the breakfast menu. I had to ask if they were open, it looked like they were closed and I never saw a menu until several minutes of confusion, I only stayed because my Google maps said they opened at 8am despite the posted hours on the door stating they opened at 10am. I had to be buzzed to the counter despite me being the only one in the restaurant and they could have brought the food over to me. I had a Southwest wrap and granola parfait and hibiscus tea, the food was at tempature and tasted good, the tea I didn't realize was sweetened and tasted like watered down cranberry juice. All the tables and seats looked dirty like they hadn't wiped them down from the night before. There was an employee cleaning them up, but his cleaning supplies were scattered across the dining room along with dirt piles and straw wrappers. The salt and pepper looked like they had never been changed and the advert sign on the table was missing the sign. There were also what looked like to-go supplies being stored next to the register in big boxes, making it difficult and a safety hazard. Looked like a bunch of delivery vehicle signs crammed on top of a cooler and about a dozen highchairs poorly stacked and tilting over. Overall it filled me up was quiet, but very dirty, felt like they needed a few more hours to prepare for service, and I pray I don't get food poisoning from the kitchen if it was as dirty as the dinning room.

Had my birthday dinner here. Just got the salad bar. Everything was good and fresh. I love coming here to eat whether it's the sandwiches, potatoes, or salad bar.

I like the half sandwich and bowl of soup combo, my wife likes the salad bar.

2 words: baked potato I just love it! I could it it every day for the rest of my life. The staff is friendly and efficient.

If you’ve had Jason’s deli before, you know the food is good. The only reason I’m leaving this review is because the staff and management at this location deserve the highest praise. I eat here frequently on my lunch break and very rarely are there any mistakes with my order but, on the rare occasion there is a problem, they are so pleasant about fixing it and usually will check back before you leave to ensure you’re satisfied. I once ordered a bowl of soup I hadn’t tried before and wasn’t a fan. When management asked about it and heard I didn’t really care for it, they just asked me what I’d like instead and replaced it for free. Everyone here deserves a raise, thanks for making my lunch breaks so enjoyable!
