The Captain's Seafood & Oyster Bar - Austin - Photo album

A wonderful little jewel in the heart of the I35 corridor here in Austin Texas. Beautiful seafood and excellent service. I had the crab stuffed jumbo shrimp with the veggie and shrimp rice and hush-puppies. It was delicious. I highly recommend this place.
Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere! Prices were typical of what you'd see at a seafood restaurant and wasn't overpriced for the quality of food. Fish and shrimp were cooked perfectly and had great flavor to them, overall presentation was great, the only thing was the gumbo was dull and bla
We have the waiter David a great tip. He was excellent, extremely attentive and fast! The food was a plus! food was very tasty and hot! I didn’t care for the sauce they give for the alligator appetizer.
Probably the best and most affordable Seafood in the Austin area. Great service, vibe and atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again when I visit Austin.
Love this place! I've been going here since I was young with my grandpa and family. Now as an adult I go alone and sit at the bar. Staff is excellent and very attentive. Food is delicious! 😇
Stopped for dinner, ordered a cup of gumbo and a whole catfish. The gumbo was served quickly, it was hot and delicious. The whole catfish soon followed, it was complimented with fries. Server was friendly and attentive. The food also reasonably priced.
Very good food and great service. We had fried fish baskets and stuffed shrimp. Baked oysters were amazing, and my rose was nice and cold! We had a very good dinner and time as it was right next to the hotel we stayed at!.
Stopped in at Capt. Benny’s while staying at the Courtyard across the parking lot. The service and food was great. I sat down quickly and David S. was right there with a welcome and a menu. I had the shrimp lovers special and it was very good. My only complaint was that the sweet potato fries were a
Beautiful day to enjoy a cold brew under the tiki picnic table. Oysters were definitely disappointing. Great fresh catfish, n shrimp. Fries were amazing too!!!
Nice seafood spot. We had a build your plate. Catfish, fries, coleslaw. Oh, I forgot the raw oysters.
A small restaurant in the shape of a boat. There is seating outside on a deck. The inside seating gets full fast and the wait is long when that happens. The food is good and the prices aren't too high for seafood prices. The tables always feel sticky though.
