Review Tucci's Southside Subs - Austin

Traveling through and found this place because I was craving a Philly. Had the Philly cheesesteak and hit the spot. The service is top-notch. We were welcomed and all were very friendly. I had my mother with me as well and she ordered the chicken parmesan. It originally came out spicy and she mentioned it and without hesitation they made another for her without the spicy relish. I will remember this place and will be back. If you are finding yourself near this place I would highly recommend it.

Tuccis good basic sandwich shop food is fast and fresh. I had the cuban Sandwich was ok did not care for the marinade of the pork a mojo would knock it out of the park. Like a Miami cuban. The other subs looked greate and all told me they were awsome. The,soda machines had unique flavors with Mexican Coke. That was so good and tasty. I give it a good score amd give it a try

The staff was cool and friendly, the food was good, and the atmosphere was chill. Definitely going to come back. Also, the Spicy Italian is the way to go.

Pastrami Sandwich was next level. Delicious. I don't even like sauerkraut but somehow it tastes amazing. Improved my mood for the rest of the day.

These guys are amazing. The staff is always great, and the food always slaps. Best subs in town!

Good Philly, but spicy! Staff was friendly. But the prices: $20 for two small subs, no chips or drink included. That's outrageous.

Incredible food and incredible service! It was my first time going but I already felt like a regular. The Italian Beef is great, very filling and delicious. I will definitely be going back!

On average I always get the Austin sub but every now and then I will get the meatball sub, recommend both. Parking is good for the most part. Basic dine in layout and friendly service. I like the pure cane sugar fountain machine and good potato chip options. Prices are in my opinion decent, I understand that local establishment have to make money too. Overall good place to get a good sub.

If you go in and the music is loud, your sandwich is about to be AMAZING. The two young guys behind the counter know what they’re doing. They’re pleasant but don’t expect much conversation, they keep it short and sweet and I can appreciate that. The philly is my favorite, i get it every time, no onions, extra cheese, side of mayo. The half is PLENTY for an adult, but get the whole if you want to save some for later.

Seriously. I've eaten Pat's/Gino's Philly's and they don't even come close to this Philly in Austin, TX!! Homemade bread, chopped beef, provolone, and I added sweet hot and jalepeno peppers... OMG! We also ordered the classic Italian fully dressed and it almost made me cry, it was so good. Ricker, the guru of sandwich God's, was freaking amazing!! His knowledge of what's offered, guided me to choosing my Sammy. Holy hell! What a gem of a worker!! He handled 5 people in line w finesse and incredible skill.... This is a now "must stop" next time we're in town

I relocated to Austin from the east coast several years ago and struggled to find a taste of home until I found Tucci's. Absolutely delicious sandwiches, great quality and generous portions. I'll definitely be back!

Hands down the best sandwich place in Austin. I've converted several friends and its usually my go-to when I'm driving South on 35. Those hot peppers!

Great sub and friendly staff. I always try different sandwiches and haven’t been disappointed yet.

The food at Tucci's is always great in my experience. The dine-in experience isn't usually as good since it's either super busy around lunch or deserted around dinner, but the staff is normally friendly and helpful if you need suggestions. The Gourmet Italian done "Tucci's Way" is always a good option if you don't know what to order.

Yep. It's good. Don't drive on by. Get any if the listed fare and you won't be sorry. Check out the fountain drinks before you select - there are some pretty good alternatives. Been going to this place a long time and never been disappointed.

The sandwiches and service here are great. I also love that they sell Zaps, they go perfect with the Tucci Turkey.

Grilled eggplant is delicious! The staff are super friendly and efficient, they know the faces of the regulars and joke like family with them. The atmosphere is very laid back and positive. So glad to have discovered this gem so close to our house, will definitely be back!

My favorite sub shop in Austin. Everything here is very good and of the highest quality. The Philly cheesesteak is the best I've had anywhere. Keep up the good work!

I have been here twice now for lunch and both times left extremely satisfied. Priced a little higher than other sub shops, but worth it for the fresh meats and portions. Good customer service - they don't sacrifice quality for speed. I recommend the Spicy Italian.

Being a native Texan, I never knew what a sandwich was until I visited Philly and ate my share of fine sandwiches. Fast forward to now, and I finally found a real sandwich in Austin! The south side Italian gourmet is ridiculously good!! Highly recommended. The service is excellent too, the guys at the counter are always joking and smiling and friendly. This place rocks!
