This is the best kept secret in downtown Austin. Absolutely beautiful and professionally managed. The outdoor movie nights are so awesome. We were able to sit with our food outside and watch Elf during the Christmas season. Highly recommend

this is such a great little gem. they have rotating restaurants that offer different things. it's kind of like a mall food court but for sophisticated millennials. We had chicken from the rotisserie, soup, dumplings, and ice cream. Great place to hang out outside on a sunny day, great place to get away from everything on a sad rainy day..

There should be something for everyone at Fareground no matter your cuisine preferences. Clean bathrooms and plenty of seating makes for a nice spot to spend the afternoon with friends/family.
Plenty of games outside also to keep the whole family entertained.
Would recommend scouting out the food options at the back to make sure you don't miss any options.

I went to Taco Pegaso. Order on their screens (a la Argos for any English readers!) Then a short while later your meal appears

Brilliant atmosphere . Nice food court environment so u get different food options and drinks too at the same place. Good spot for a family visit too cos it caters to different needs. But Quite an unknown spot this, it should be more crowded than it is. Went on a Saturday evening and it wasn’t that crowded. I think it’s cos at street level only a couple bars are visible. Sometimes it might be easy to miss the food options which are located at the basement. I hope that is looked at by the owners of the place.
Tried the tacos, arepas and a kids bowl. They were fantastic. The best were the tacos from taco pegaso . The champis vegetarian tacos were outstanding, the best tacos I have had in Austin. The bar has a good collection of beers too . Overall a lovely place to come by and eat.

Wow! I’m so happy about this place and wish I’d known about it sooner. The most incredible food and everyone can choose something different. The choices are made up of some of the best and highest rated restaurants in Austin, some with a more limited menu, but so good. It was clean and convenient and the staff was above and beyond helpful. They made it easy to collect various foods and used common areas for drinks and utensils which just simplified it all. I cannot wait to go back here!!

Cute place in the middle of downtown. Plenty of options to eat and space for kids to run around. Indoor and outdoor seating with lot of shade. My kids loved the rotisserie chicken and potatoes.

Plenty of delicious food options. I had Jewboy Sliders which was amazing! We were escaping the heat so sat inside by the windows and still got that downtown vibe. Great location - the South Congress bridge is only steps away. We went there after our yummy dinner to watch the bats!

Came here for the first time and this place was so frkn awesome! There is a hill to sit on outside with plenty of shade. There is tables and chairs to eat. You go inside and there is a big seating area, places to relax like a couch. And then you go to the food section, which we tried the DAI DUE TAQUERIA AND NIKOME RAMEN and oh my goodness I had the best BURRITO in my freaking life and I'm Mexican as hell and they were premium quality, made me wanna kiss the cook LOL The ramen was full of flavor and my daughter loved it. Will definitely be returning. SOON LOL

Now people going out in a group don’t have to worry about picking one place to suit all palates. This place has plenty to please, and it’s beautiful too. Such a fantastic concept, and it couldn’t have been executed better. That Pineapple Mezcal Punch though? Out of this world!

I was excited about this place because I have been to a food hall downtown Chicago and LOVED it. My kids had miso ramen (delish) and I had a pretzel from Easy Tiger (which is a lot better at Easy Tiger) my husbands Sushi was just “ok”. We decided that we would probably not go back (unless it’s just for a two hearted ale from the bar)!

What an amazing idea! Numerous wonderful restaurants in a up-scale food court setting! My family ordered from various restaurants and we shared family style. Everything was really good. If you are in downtown Austin you have to try this place out. I am from Houston and will definitely go back to Fareground when in Austin next.

Modern "food court" w/ plenty of foodie options & bar -beautifully designed both interior and exterior. Can see this being the go to spot for a quick lunch during SXSW or any of the million events we have year round. Lines were short & the food was ready in less then 10 min. A tad pricey but to be expected as it's downtown and good quality eats. Parking is awful but hey it's downtown so � Can't wait to pop in & try agin when I'm in the area.

I had wings from Contigo while they where tasty they where tiny and not cheap. We had a side of fries too they where very good. I parked in the garage that if you kept your receipt you could get your garage ticket validated. I am not sure what else I should have done or if the was it but when I went to leave garage it was just a machine that charged me $21. I would have tried for street parking if Fareground had not suggested and posted parking garage directions.
