Review Pho Thaison - Austin

We had the #2 Chin (Brisket) Pho….I’ve definitely had better. Factoring in the overall taste and value it didn’t make the cut!

Me and my partner go here at least once a week. The pho is amazing and they have options for my Vegan boyfriend which is always a plus for me. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and food always comes out fast and hot.

Food is overpriced. I had a pad thai to go and the portion was very small, the container was less than half full. The spicy edamame was not good at all, did not have much flavor. I understand prices have gone up but for $22 I would expect at least a full serving and tasty food. I did try to talk to the person working there but she did not speak any English

As a Viet, I usually order two things when I try "new" pho places. The brisket pho and spring rolls. The pho was average 2/5, definitely had better. Meat cuts were thick, but plentiful. Now the spring rolls, I was asked "shrimp or pork", which was unusual since most pho places, they put both in traditional spring rolls. I order the shrimp, boy that was a mistake, the shrimp smelled like it was days old and the peanut sauce had no flavor. Definitely 0/5 for the spring rolls. Overall, service was prompt, portions were ok. No small or large bowl, it was separated with basic and specialty for the pho. Maybe the non pho options are better, but a place with "pho" in the name. It should be the best dish.

Best Phoa in town. We love their Pork Belly Buns. We drive an hour once a month. This place is a secret. Their service is also superb.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years, and I don't know why I am just getting around to reviewing it. I love this restaurant, it is right next to hopdoddy's, it never has a problem with parking. I never have to wait for a table. The price is always right. The service is gentle and relaxing and I come here with my family/friend every year for my birthday. I always order the hot Pho soup with beef broth and vegetables or brisket. The yelp app also gets you a free super large spring roll, with lots of generous delicious sauce. This restaurant is consistent, and I can vouch that it has not decreased in quality or service or taste in 10 years. There is a special vibe, a relaxation and calm in this space, combined with the delicious food, I highly recommend everybody tries it at least one time ever.

You must try the spring rolls! The chicken are my favorite, but they're all good. The steak pho is amazing! My fiance brought me here and now I'm addicted. The service isn't great so allow yourself plenty of time, it's worth it!

Pho Thaison is located in Austin. It is very authentic Vietnamese food. Not only do they have a variety of Pho, they also have vermicelli bowls fried and spring rolls. The servers are Vietnamese and very friendly. They have vegetarian choices on the pho and vermicelli bowls and rolls. I had a little of everything and it was ver delicious. They have soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sriracha available in the table.
